Gentle reminder Shaun Johnson hasn't won a final since 2011.

If he doesn't play week 2 and the warriors are out.

Will he ever add to his tally of just 2 finals victories in his career.

Looks like it will be Warriors v Roosters in NZ next week. I'd be leaning towards the roosters tbh.... even if Johnson is back. He's clearly got an issue and if he plays he wont have run for a near 2 weeks due to injuries.

Broncos win tomorrow night and i think they have a GF berth tied up. Neither Warriors or Roosters will trouble them in a prelim at Suncorp

I thought Warriors would be playing Knights or Raiders? I could be wrong.

They will be, what I’m saying is whoever makes it thru that game won’t trouble Brisbane the following week
You never know lets be honest Adam Reynolds or Reece Walsh could go down after 5 mins with a HIA and all of sudden everything changes.

Its easier to prepare without them when you know they ain't playing.

Harder to adjust mid-game when it was unexpected.

I recall Reynolds went off last year against us after 5 mins with HIA and we put 50 on them after that.

For some strange reason I think Knights and Warriors could trouble Brisbane but not the Storm. But I'd still expect Brisbane to win.

For some reason I am quite keen to fully watch all this weekend's games, even though the Eels are missing.
Maybe it is the fully sold out stadiums for all games.
Anyway, the NRL is on a high atm.

I'm actually the opposite. I haven never had less interest in footy finals. And that includes the lean 90s, the Kearney years and even 2018. It's also the first time in my life I booked a holiday on grand final day. Something about this year has really killed my love of league.
