It was a tough game. We had it won at 22-10. W.Smiths charge down wasn't needed. But then again a bit of luck and we get the ball there. We barely touched the ball after that for 12mins. By that time it was 22-20.
Without that harge down moment I felt we had them done. They where gassed and we would of taken the ball on our own 30 or 40 and coming at them again.

Penalties at bad times also hurt us. Worrying was they managed 4 x tries. They where soft. High chance Jnrs seaaon is also over.

Without looking at stats Waqa was best on field.

Considering how we were rated, and considering the opposition, and considering the expectations, that was one of our worst performances of the season.
So lacklustre, so lacking enthusiasm, against one of the worst teams ever to play semi final football.
A massive improvement is needed next week., tactically, mentally and physically.
Seriously, today's performance was rubbish and not finals standard.

Penalty try (d) the Referee may award a penalty try if, in his opinion, a try would have been scored but for the unfair play of the defending team. A penalty try is awarded between the goal posts irrespective of where the offence occurred.

Knights played tough. There forwards went well. Yes they aren't great but barely had there full strength side. This was there best side all year.

Not a lot went our way. The charge down, Gutherson kicks out on the full. Penalties after we got possesion via video reff reviews.

I don't expect us to beat the Panthers. They are just a better side all round. But I do hope we compete and you never know your luck. Anything can happen.
We cant go into our shells. We will need to keep it tight but not be afraid to start moving the ball.

When RCG and Stone went off we lost alot of punch.

Some credit to the knights for hanging in all game.

Some dumb stuff from us and not much ref love didnt help our cause.

But its finals. Any win is a good win
