I remember the Storm game from 2007 more as i went to Melbourne for the Prelim that year with my family to watch us get boned over by the officials again at the Docklands/Marvel Stadium.

Then gave all us Parra fans the finger in that bay as he got marched out as we all cheered the cops moving the wanker on.

I was at that game as well, pretty good Parra fans turnout, over 30k crowd

I was also there, one of the few Eels matches I saw (being Melbourne-based at the time). I always thought we would have gotten over the top of Manly the next week if we had beaten the Storm as wel probably should have.

One of the big "What ifs" - even more so than 2005 (Unfortunately I was also at that prelim...)

Not sure we would have beaten Manly. They had our measure during that time.

2005 is the biggest disappointment for me. Not only did we choke in a preliminary final but we basically gifted the Tigers a premiership.

So they can always say they won a premiership this century.

We would have beaten them on GF day had more GF experience still a bit of residue from 01 side. And we have had the Tigers measure ever since they merged most games even when playing shit.

I would be a bit happy to see the chooks lose more so i don't have to hear how brave they are for another week. Especially with all there injuries. But both teams are cannon fodder for Penrith next week.

I don't like the Storm, but also don't think the Roosters really deserve to go beyond this week.

Storm are looking a bit creaky with injuries, but agree either team will be mincemeat the following week.

Warriors v Knights should be a better match, and I'm hoping Warriors hold on (assuming Johnson won't play/start this week) for the win.

My take on it is Storm cheated and (eventually) got caught. The Brave Roosters have been cheating since day dot and no one does anything about it. Ask Braith Anasta.
