There is a YouTube video of himself and Tiny doing a work out in a park. Tago rips out about 10 muscle ups. He’s super strong, j think his weakness is technique.
Is he still completely ignoring medical science? One strange dude

Well, they all looked lean and fit. Patea looks trimmer which will help him last for more minutes in 26. Overall, the effort in defence was there. Getting a roll on was difficult, the Tigers did a good job of controlling the ruck and the ref let them mess around in the ruck for a long time.

Milky was probably our best player. He gave the Tigers huge problems securing kicks. Tago will be under pressure this year, because PA looks good and does more work lugging the ball up.

Garner, Martin, Henry and Sorro will give us more forward oomph when they return. We were a bit short in the forwards and barely managed to get in their 20m zone.

I am looking forward to the first round, but we will need Cleary cleared if we want a win.

Also i like to lift weights and i know the strength and power for an nrl athlete comes from core and lower body not upper body, but tago has an empty treasure chest, he looks like hes never met a bench press.
I'm sure you are aware of Anatoly. 80kg and 290kg deadlift. Size means nothing. Ronnie Coleman was built like a mountain and was out lifted by power lifters nowhere near his size (130kg at his peak and stacked).

Strength is very difficult to guage just by looks.

Not a bad hit out really. Had no ball, which usually isnt a big problem for us, I assume the plan was to get comfortable in defence. The try from the tigers kid should have been stopped, poor from Going and Tago. Edwards as well to a degree, but the kid had some steam up at that point and no point killing yourself in a trial.

Milky looked very sharp. Ivan is going to need to think long and hard there. I prefer Alamoti on the wing, but he is still a beast at centre, so has to be in the team. Casey is a lock to come back in, so Tago needs to get his shit together fast, he is looking the odd man out. We aren't flush with back rowers, so maybe it's time. Who knows, it could end up a Luke Lewis type situation. In any case he isn't in our best backline right now imo.

Patea was a bit disappointing, I was hoping to see more. Hopefully it's a case of the greasy conditions not suiting him. Going was also a bit underwhelming, he has been here 5 minutes though, so too early to write him off obviously.

On the other fringe newcomers I thought Lussick looked ok, and Moi Moi and Ale have some upside down the track.

Lastly if Edgar is next up fullback we are in deep shit if Dylan gets injured. For the amount I've heard him talked up he was terrible in what we have seen the last two weeks.

You put that guy in a tight jersey like nrl plyers wear and youd have no doubt just looking at him that he works hard in the gym.

I know tago is strong ive heard guys talk about his wresting strength, he just doesnt look any stronger then 2-3 years ago. Most guys traning like an nrl player at that age are getting bigger and stronger after a number of years.

Take someone like Milky who is naturally skinny, he still looks bigger than he was 2 or 3 years ago.

Milky has improved so much, its amazing what a bit of belief from your coach can do. The Knights fans must be going "WTF"?

Round 1 win still very achievable. But I'd be far more confident with our 7. Round 2 the same.

Not a great start. We've spent a whole off-season prepping to ensure we start better than 2025. On the backfoot already.

Oh even better.

He may as well fight it, miss 2 you may as well miss 3.

Ridiculous from the supposed best footy brain in our team.
A player fell into the tackle. How is he supposed to anticipate that? The rules are broken. Defenders are punished for attacking players making mistakes and not being able to react in a thousandth of a second.

I think Ricky Stuart had the right idea this week. Didn't even consider risking his spine players.
Trials games can stuff up your season before it starts.

He ran out on his own didn't he? Didn't seem necessary.

He wasn't the only one who did it last night either. I'd expect some reserves to do that but not Nathan.

I think it was a great shot, shoulder on shoulder first. Why didn’t he go off for a HIA if he hit him in the head? Ashley Klein is an imbecile and a terrible Ref. NRL already trying to derail the Panthers season before it starts.

I think you call that leading from the front, that’s what the good players do.
