Week 2 Trial Vs Tigers

Lead with shoulder and it ended up hitting the opposition's head even tho first contact was shoulder to shoulder. A week would have been fair. Im glad he got off as it would have ruined a blockbuster.
So he learnt how to tackle properly, lead with your shoulder. Was a total farce and justice has been served. People can say what they want, but everyone knows it was a good shot.

There was no HIA. Therefore no contact with head.

I get you can be hit in the head and not be concussed, but who plays god out on the field. Would still assume you go for a HIA to be deemed fit to play otherwise we are going to have players never going off. Not sure many players would volunteer to go off. I do however believe the Tigers case was more whiplash effect.

They look for specific symptoms. They arent guessing. At least not to the degree you are implying.

Where in that summary does it say he was hit in the head? It says "shoulder to shoulder" If he hit him in the head, he would have been suspended.

Did you misunderstand the conversation? People were saying Cleary got off because there was no HIA meaning no head contact. The hia or lack of didn't factor and I posted the reason to prove it.

One week wasn't an option. It was either 0 or 3, or 2 if he took the early guilty. I think they got it right in the end.
