Is this your 1st rodeo?

Ticketek always holds back tickets, Go back on get better seats. Then you sell the seats ( face value) you don't want to Panthers fans.
Last home final was COVID affected and Ticketek stuffed it up.
one before that we could get our own seats.

I reckon for finals, the requirement for stadiums should be 25,000 minimum capacity all seater. No hills.
Ironically, our first round semi against Parra in ’09 that was played at Kogarah was one of the reasons they stopped the home ground games at small venues. Cries of 40k being locked out by the telegraph and the NRL responded.

Then we had a few years of lame crowds at ANZ and they changed it back.

f**k changing it again. If your ground meets NRL standards and you win the right to a home final, play it wherever you want.

First it was 20k, but that meant Penrith was OK, so now you raise it to 25k.
Newcastle has hills so it is ineligible too?

Easy to say in theory to move it, Reality shows week 1 finals aren't very well attended

honestly if Souths want to play in front of 4K in Redfern I would be all good with that.

Yeah exactly.

This year is a bit of an anomaly, as Penrith/Parra and Roosters/Souths are both huge rivalries and should rightly draw massive crowds.

But You’re not generally going to get games with this level of interest in week one.

Roosters/Souffs will draw better being at Allianz, If at Accor probably caps out at 35k
Penrith v Parra on a Friday night at Accor would draw poorly and the atmosphere is lost in that soulless Stadium

Sharks played Cowboys in 2013 at Allianz, in week one of the finals. Crowd: 32,747.

And that was 8th v 5th!

Absolutely insane that I an only get single seats for that game at Shark Park today, Joke.

Which clubs have fans spread across the city. If most do then why won’t centralised stadiums work?
There’s a litany of reasons. Most have been discussed to death.

Put simply, the NRL already tried this. And it failed.

I think all of these games are great match ups. Three of them have enough history to suggest they will be crackers. Sharks v Cowboys is fantastic as fresh faces in the 8 this year.

Yes. The change back charge was lead by, yet again, The Daily Telegraph. Merkins

If nrl wanted to maximise crowds it would have:
roosters at allianz Friday night
sharks allianz saturday night
penrith Accor Sunday afternoon

i still scratch my head at why an nrl clubs fans wouldnt bother going to a finals game? Are fans really not fussed their team got into the finals? I mean it’s not every season sharks finish second and have a crack at a premiership!
Dockers sold out 60k optus in minutes for wk1 of finals to their own fanbase. Why do nrl clubs not have more fans? One of lifes unanswered questions!

They can't do that. Penrith or Parra are playing the Friday night in week 2

Because it isn't elimination, No need to go just yet. Especially the multiple train changeover and the higher ticket prices. Get mates over and have a BBQ
