Sharks 5 Manly 11. Yep, real even.

Anyway, you are missing the point. Which is - for the hard of thinking - that refs are woefully inconsistent and are potentially deciding games.

As long as the NRL hold the closeness of games as a key KPI, nothing will change. Blow outs are bad for business, it is coached into the referee's.

There is no such rule against people falling onto the ground without having a hand laid on them. What you are not allowed to do is play the ball, when you have not been tackled.
Actually there is a rule that prohibits deliberately and unnecessarily falling to the ground without being held by a defender.

Voluntary tackles are actually illegal.
Section 11 of the rules.

See the attached file.

They don’t seem to enforce it tho.

Is there a stat available for each team where a try/no try has gone to the Bunker for review? Or how often a ref will go to the bunker?

I reckon 80% of Warriors try’s are reviewed. I’m sure it’s not just the Warriors with a high review rate.

Also are refs not willing to back themselves knowing there is technology available? The ref or touchies can be on the spot, best view, and still go for a review.
