Only way it could be Laffranchi is if it was just for half a season.
Only reason I think that may be is because he and the board had a blowup about re-signing him, and Laffranchi wanted to stay but the board wouldn't offer him a contract.
Now the Titans have a backrow of Minichiello, Harrison and Bird, he may be seen as surplus to requirements up there and Laffranchi may not feel any loyalty to them and would rather play 80 minutes elsewhere.
Highly improbable, but not impossible.
Whether that would benefit the Sharks that much is a different matter...but if you have the cash to splash for the second half of the year, why not I guess...
