Interesting, Fox NRL, who love to put the boot into the WT's don't make any mention of this, atm.
But hopefully the NRL will penalise the dogs supporters and players (Kiraz) for doing similar.

FYI - Michael Chammas wrote an interesting opinion piece about its usage by people of Arab heritage on the SMH's website -

Interesting point, Gould wouldn't stoop that low would he?

I agree with Georgallis. Crichton should have been charged. Whilst some claim it was accidental, the MRC have charged other players for similar incidents (ask the Dragons supporters about a couple of Anzac Day games agao for tackles on James Tedesco).

Even Tedesco himself, for an accident in his collision with Hopoate, was given a category 1 dangerous contact charge. Crichton used a blatant should charge (despite Abdo's public b/s comments about a wrapping motion of Crichton's arms) so at least he should have received a level 1 charge. IKts stuff like this as to why fans become perplexed and leads to thoughts of bias/favouratism.

He did. He posted Naden's video on twitter asking them what they thought of it. Gus is one of the people you wouldn't mind working for your club but if you ever had to work with him you'd want to smash him.
As for the judiciary, that's been a farce for decades now, so nothing new on that front.
This crap and the ever declining standard of the game is what's turned me and a lot fo others off the game. The game is see played today is the result of administrators bending over for tv companies who think a 32-22 game is what fans want to see. Rather than trying to put time and money into attracting fans to grounds like afl does , the nrl has taken the cowards way out and are trying to make a tv product that appeals to 8 year olds. A cynic would say it's all for the betting dollar.

Anyone know what the penalty for a breach notice is?
A fine, a suspension or both?

Back door should STFU and become an eels supporter.

From the NRL's website -

Back door is such a punish.Hes a hypocritical oxygen thief.
The hand gesture I made was never
Intended to hurt or cause harm. It's
something I've always shared as
lighthearted banter with my friends
and even my own brothers.

This is a relief. On the same site, it has a picture of what looks like the gesture in question being done by heaps of doggy fans.

Benny has always got over excited when asked a question. Always over exaggerates things. I take his comments like a grain salt, but still the hand gesture not a good look.

My granddaughter and I watching a haka being performed before a union test started and at the finish the players did a cutting throat gesture, and my daughter said it was a terrible thing to do.
Children pick up on things so we should be good role models.
I not saying this entertainment should stop but giving a finger in public is a no go imo.
