The Perth and pacific sides in “super” rugby are doing really well View attachment 73705
Does that mean that rugba lieg should be able to add those same areas and kill it, coz supa rugbi is a pretty shithouse product.... or are we just going to follow the A-league model and put one in campbelltown (as the tigers, lets face it are not really representing the area)

Big change to the bid, the mighty porcupines will ditch their Mt Isa base and instead be based at Mt Gambier so as it's likely in the next 1000 years Adelaide and West Melbourne will join together in a mega city.

The mighty porcupines will then be ideally placed to take on the new fans. Plan is for the blue lake to be filled in and a 12 million capacity roofed stadium to be built as our home ground.

Which teams do you think will collapse first then comeback with a different moniker??
In an ideal world there will be no clubs in Sydney, each new club will use the old Sydney clubs as a feeder club. That's because the NRL is too Sydney centric.

The old Sydney clubs will be given the option of closing down, relocating to Adelaide or becoming Burger King franchises.

Not even Hungry Jacks franchises?

I won't be sold until a team has been relocated to Broome

Disappointed that Norfolk Island hasn’t been mentioned as either part of the Western Pasifika set up or as a stand alone entity. I’d have them ahead of the Adelaide Aardvarks.
Good pick up.
I always envisioned The Norfolk Island Narwhals playing in the Central Pacific conference as a stand alone club or as a joint venture with the Whitsunday Walruses.

Of course this is all dependent on the NRL gaining a vision and plan for the sport which has to be exactly the same as mine as I am a financial guru and the world's leading sporting administrator (currently unemployed).

To supplement the talent coming from Gilligan's Island the WPP bid will also set up academies in Japan to capture the sumo wrestling talent that won't make the big leagues there.
The funniest thing about that is half the Sumo talent in Japan is imported from Mongolia or Hawaii these days

Southern Pasifika Penguins, based at Mawson Station, in an uncovered NRL style 80k capacity stadium because roofs are for pussies. Free tickets will be offered to actual penguins. A couple of games a year to be moved to McMurdo Station, Scott Base or the South Pole

I reckon now is the time to talk a second Pasifika side.

Could easily split it up into 2 regions and put them into a separate conference from each other. I can envision them playing out of, I don't know, Mt Isa.

Eastern Pasifika: Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands Tuvalu, Fiji.

Western Pasifika team would then be:
Easter Island
Falkland Islands
Galapagos Islands
Pitcairn Island
Gilligan's Island

Would create great rivalries with Western Melbourne, PNG, the Bears and of course Eastern Pasifika.

Logo and , I'm thinking something that would represent this region so the Western Pasifika Porcupines.

Funding would come from the Australian and Sudanese government and Mt Isa pokie dens.

I'll keep updated as more news comes in.
Surely the next side has to be Japanifika. We need to beat Super Rugby to it!
