I really hope he gets picked......I still have reservations about him.Not his aggression, just his ability to stay switched on for the whole game, and his hands.

In the past both have let him down.I know this year he has improved, but Im still a little skeptical.....

I've got worries about his hands as well - I'm scared that he'll get nervous in first grade and revert to his old self

but He has improved out of site in that regard so he certainly deserves the benefit of the doubt - if things don't work out I guess we'll know he needs more time but we won't know until we give him the shot

Patto's listed to start for the Magpies, but that's happened before and still played for the Tigers. I think he'll be at North Sydney Oval this time though.

Lima will almost definately be playing this week.

Paterson will be playing with the Magpies.

Gee i hope so,hate to admit it but when I see Patto's name picked I think..."oh no".....sorry Patto.

Definitely time for LIMe/Small to have a run.

Good to see Gibbs picked in the starting 13.

Can you ask him if it's OK for us to go and support our team whilst you're at it? Wouldn't want to cause any disunity.

goan - I agree Prince is better suited to 5/8th than half - but I simply don't rate Reynolds as a first grader!!!

Aside from that - predicting it might happen proves nothing until it actually WORKS f**kwit!!! And I will confidently predict that combo lasts but a few games at most!!!

Somebody else (was it Dale) picked Fitzy on the wing also - and while that has also happened - it doesn't make it right c**k-breath! And even ignorant old you realises that!!!

If you think Prince is too slow at half - see how he manages to use the extra space at 5/8th while being allegedly sluggish!!!

And the fact that you know nothing about Lima just again proves your limited knowledge of the game or our players!!!

PS - You invited this attack buddy - I would have ignored your usual sh*t otherwise - WANKER!!!

With Lima and PAterson named in the PL sides, should we assume they are the two likely to drop off the bench?

When will Sheensie stop persisting with 2 hookers? Maybe if you have 3 other forwards on the bench, but the Tigers do not.

the biggest positive is the opposition pack...they haver f**k all going for them. If we don't dominate this pack we won't do shit this year. In my opinion, Bryce isn't a starter yet, but considering the lack of other options and an unwillingness to use Small in the side, there probably isn't anyone else to start alongside skando.

as for the rest, I don't rate mears at all. He makes solid runs when we are getting decent go forward but he chooses blind side options far too frequently and isn't enough of a threat to the opposing team to take any pressure off the first receiver. A poor move by sheens considering Farah is everything you could want in a hooker and is left to sit on the bench once again. I don't think the rotation system at hooker has done anything for any of the hookers at the club. He needs to f**king realise that, especially considering how desperately we could use some forward power off the bench.

fitzy at wing is fine by me. At least he isn't in the middle of the field muddling up our backline.

Lima better f**king play! and Dene has been a champion performer this year in a side that has lacked go-forward in every single match. He doesn't deserve to be on the fringe.

Patto belongs at wests magpies to give them more numbers when they train. The guy continually shows nothing and gets rewarded for it. Not knocking on can only get you so far.

Like snide, I have my doubts about reynolds. He may well prove me wrong but I don't think he has very good acceleration and sometimes cracks under the pace of first grade. Not good weaknesses to have if you're halfback. I also think Prince has performed extremelly well at half (barring the last match). He hasn't torn up defenses but he has supplied quality ball to players outside him, and if they had the tinniest bit of talent they'd be able to capitalise on his good play.

Bronson harrison had less then a half of footy before going back to first division, which should surely do sweet f**k all for his confidence. If it's a long term scheme I'm happy to go with it, but I'd rather see him in first grade this week.

That's about it.

Reynolds may crack under the pressure of 1st grade, but until he is given a fair go, with a fair chance to get some combos going, that will always appear to be the case. I hope he does enough to be retained next weekend, then he might actually get to have 2 games in a row with the same players in the same positions.

we have 2 pl sides 1 first grade and you all want your tigers or magpies full squad in first grade it just doesn't work
sheens is coaching he's 450th game this week so i think he has 449 times more experience then any of us on here
i have my opinions too but doubting the coach wont get anywhere he's doing alot for the club and can only do what he see's right and putting everyone favourite pl player into the nrl isn't he's number one priority
saying that i think we'll win by 22 this week and hopefully keep the good form for the top sides we have for the next 20 games

I've never coached a first grade game in my life but I know you need go forward to be competitive in a game of football. Why is it that Sheens doesn't realise that?

I know none of us have coached a First Grade side into the semis in the last eight years.

So we're all going about as good as Sheens.

Bull

I have only seen 3 current balmain players regularly mentioned as worth a shot in first grade at this point in time (Lima, Small and Bronson), and for wests I've really only seen calls for fulton (and gravy but injury is halting that).

Thats hardly an unreasonable amount given the poor performance of the NRL side so far this season.

Now for the record I agree with Noah that dene, despite last weeks poor form, deserves more than to be the 18th man on an extended bench - I also agree that mears in first grade is a waste of space, Mears is talented - but much less so than robbie - and is highly selfish.

I disagree on Bronson though - theres only so many spots available and while I'm a huge fan he was woeful last weekend and I don't think theres room for both him and dene in the team - so spending some more time in PL won't hurt him.

I actually hope that its Galea and Patto who drop back - 'cause Ben is still unfit and underperforming, he doesn't deserve a spot at the expense of any of the others.

your usual sh*t otherwise - WANKER!!!

Snide, do you realise that children log onto this forum? I have mentioned this you on several occasions and yet you still persist with expletives. It speaks volumes for your (lack of) intelligence that you are unable to make a point without swearing and including 45 million exclamation marks.

Do learn to frame an argument logically or do everyone a favour and rack off.

goan - I agree Prince is better suited to 5/8th than half - but I simply don't rate Reynolds as a first grader!!!

This is not what you stated before. I clearly claimed that Sheens should swap Prince and Reynolds and you derided this. You seem to change your tune very quickly - again, displaying your lack of intelligence.

I have also said I have my doubts about reynolds as a half - but we need speed in our halfback and Prince isnt giving us that. Let's see how Reynolds goes.

Aside from that - predicting it might happen proves nothing until it actually WORKS f**kwit!!! And I will confidently predict that combo lasts but a few games at most!!!

It proves that my point - Prince is too slow and not dynamic enough as a half - still stands. It proves that your (previous) assertion that Prince is a suitable halfback is false. This combination may indeed fail - the point however, is that Sheens recognises, as I did, that Prince was not delivering at half.

Somebody else (was it Dale) picked Fitzy on the wing also - and while that has also happened - it doesn't make it right c**k-breath! And even ignorant old you realises that!!!

No, it doesn't make it right, but it makes you wrong for deriding the suggestion.

If you think Prince is too slow at half - see how he manages to use the extra space at 5/8th while being allegedly sluggish!!!

Yes - lets see indeed - considering he has played his best football in that position. Given that we got absolutely belted the week before, I would say that we need to try different things.

And the fact that you know nothing about Lima just again proves your limited knowledge of the game or our players!!!

No, it proves that I am willing to ask and learn about players and things I dont know. And helpful people like Brook will endeavour to answer as best they can. While imbeciles like yourself will only criticise.

PS - You invited this attack buddy - I would have ignored your usual sh*t otherwise - WANKER!!!

Do you have any idea of how stupid and out of proportion you sound?
Probably not, as that would require some intelligence.

You are a washed up genius who thinks that because he has played a game of league once 42 years ago, you now have a monopoly on all league knowledge. If you were half as intelligent as you think you are, you wouldn't need to swear to make your points. There are many people on this forum who know much more than you (and I), yet they make their comments logically, courteously and without acting like a drama queen.

Fact is, i made the suggestion that prince should be moved to half - it happened, you were wrong - deal with it. Or should I say, deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

goan - you want to bait me with empty victories that prove nothing and I will treat you with the contempt you f**king deserve!!!

I save my abuse for those most deserving - and you certainly fit that category!!!

I have not changed about Prince - I see half and 5/8th as relatively interchangeable if the players are of requisite quality - so Prince can play in both 6 or 7 - but Reynolds should be in PL!!!!

The fact Fitzy has been picked on the wing does not make me wrong - until he makes it work!! I rate Fitzy as a good little footballer - but if he is best suited to wing in 1st grade - send him back to PL also - and bring in a real winger!!! I contend that Sheensy - and not me - is the wrong party here!!!

As for asking for the opinion of others on players you know nothing about - I have no problem! But when you also formulate your own ignorant opinions based on this advice (and not personal views or experience) without seeing the players yourself - you are struggling!!!

I wish I had played 42 years ago - as I was still ten years to be conceived you silly pr*ck!!!

You are a f**kwit!!!

PS - saying somebody is not intelligent or knowledgable (when they prove the opposite consistently) does not make it so!!! It just makes you look like an arrogant & supercilious fool!!!!!
