Wests Tigers vs St George Illawarra Dragons - Match Discussion - Build Up

As some of you on here know a few of my mates are involved with the Dragons.

I spoke to one of them this morning and he said at a team meeting yesterday these were among the items discussed: (oh yeah and I'm not meant to tell anyone lol.gif )

* There will be an air raid launched on Fitzhenry

* Despite whats being said in the media they will not be targeting Prince and Marshall in defence but insead Farah

* All players are to be tackled on suspision, especially Hodgson

* Expect them to kick on the fourth tackle a few times early on and then towards the end of the half run the ball on the last.

* Henderson is favoured to play instead of Simms however Brown won't decide until Saturday afternoon

* Hornby will be following Bailey and Ryles EVERYWHERE

* Slow the play the balls down even if it results in a few penalties

* When Halatau comes into dummyhalf come players defending the ruck take a few steps forward and in before the ball is played.


Thats all I can remember. Basically the Dragons are pretty worried of us, all last week they were planning to play us. They will not be taking us lightly at all.

A good insight but the last line about being worried is a bit off the mark. Its more about respecting the opposition and being prepared, combatting the strengths and attacking the weaknesses of the opposition.

A standard game plan, if indeed this is legit, but it stands to reason.

Im not sure if wedging in the rucks will work the cowboys tried that and hodgo just ran into the holes made and scored 3 tries..

I can see Hodgo scoring a few again.
