Weyman to the Dragons

Win news just reported that Mick Weyman has signed a 3 year deal with the Dragons.

I've got mixed emotions about this. I had high hopes for the horse and I know he bleeds green...I have a suspicion losing him could turn out like Ben Cross Mk II.

Dragons are obviously looking to replace the girth of wicks and they've gone a fair way to doing it. Couldn't care either way really, he was never going to fulfill any potential he had in canberra, he had plenty of opportunities but never produced consistently.

Hopefully there is a hannant, heighington, shillington in the works- because the front row cupboard would be pretty bare losing logan as well.

As was stated elsewhere, He will probably shine under Bennett. The way management has been of late we will most likely buy him back in 3 tears for $400k.

If this means however that we can sign a Heighnington and a Shillingotn then im not too fussed.

I find it hard to believe that he is leaving ... expressed his desire in the past that he prefers the country lifestyle.

I agree with ohers indicating we will miss his best years.

If in fact he is leaving I feel as though he has left the club down ... we've probably had to hurse him through 4 of every 5 games he could have played due to injury or suspension .. if there is one player that owes it to his club it is Weyman
