They never said they were donating all monies.Players also need to nominate a charity of choice, where a portion of the money will go.
Minimum wage is rising next year fought for in no small part by RLPA.It makes perfect sense. The game does not have enough money to pay the fringe players big dollars because it is all going towards the star players and other football department expenditure. In this case other football department expenditure included brown paper bag payments to the merkin Smith.

The 'Immortal' bullshit has a lot to answer forThere seems to be a trend emerging - making individual players bigger than the game.
Yep. The media love a good label even when it doesn’t remotely make any sense. The 'Immortal' bullshit has a lot to answer for
They want some players to be idolised but in reality the opposite is occurring. The 'Immortal' bullshit has a lot to answer for
I've said this often over the years, the dressing room/training paddock/playing field is one world and everything else associated with RL is another . . . all about the physical effort difference between the two. When I was in charge of a team I tried to fit into their inner sanctum but you have to be one of themThey want some players to be idolised but in reality the opposite is occurring.
I don't doubt any of that BrutusGreat insight ol mite. When I was in charge of a team we used to have slumber parties and I used to try and be part of their inner sanctum, unfortunately the girls weren't too happy with that so I had to go to wankerland by myself.
So who are the other players these two are expecting to get on board?
I know if I was a coach I’d be saying no way to my players playing in this horse shit.
This could turn out to be more embarrassing than the city country debacle.
The sad thing is, the crowd will be bigger than 90% of regular season games....... for a f**king trial game in brisbane between 2 out of city teams.
Forgive my ignorance
But is it a game between storm and cowboys?
I haven’t taken much interest after I found out smith is getting paid more extra money that will not count to the storms cap.
