What a year - 2005

This year has to go down as one of the most suprising in the history of RL.

Premiers - West Tigers
Tri-nations champions - NZ

What would have been the odds on that at the begining of the year.

Who says there is no hope for the hopeless. If this year hasn't given those who are having a tough time some hope...I don't know what would...

Well done Wests Tigers
Well done New Zealand

Well done Rugby League

Anomoly? For most teams it was pretty much business as usual. Canberra started well and faded badly, Dragons were overhyped and made a quick exit in the finals. Broncos looked the worlds best team and then when to crap after SOO and so on.

Besides the Tigers and the Kiwis it ended up a pretty typical year really.

???? Fairly bizzare comment Simon, no one was having a go at the Tigers. You seem a fairly sensitive character.

He has a massive chip on his shoulder only matched by his penis envy.

You could say to this bloke the Tigers were the best team of all time and he'd still find a way to have a go at Canberra.

Just goes to prove there are wankers from all walks of life and some people are sore winners.

I call it the "anomoly" year - normal service to resume in 2006!!

Tend to agree with you on this. The first I can remember where the Premiers lost 10 games or more and went on to win the premiership.

Overall, the results were good for the game but the quality and standard was mediocre at best.

I enjoyed 2003 much more than 2005.

The quality was the same overall as an average, but it seemed like the quality wasn't good because you didn't have two heavyweights like in 04 Roosters vs Bulldogs, but instead this year Knights vs Souths would be better then the quality last year.
