What do Australia need to change after this loss?

Problem is we don't have Mason, Pearce or Chambers in the 24 man squad so they can't be used. We are hamstrung by some of the most stupid selections I have ever seen. If we had Tolman, McGuire and one other prop instead of so many back rowers we wouldn't be in this situation.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. Sheens has to be gone if we lose this weekend. Even with the injuries we could have picked a better side than this.

Agreed. I'm a Roosters fan, but I honestly reckon it's absolutely bizarre he starts ahead of McDonald, who has been better every time he's had to step in for Tupou. He'd have been better as a back up FB than Walker was, but he's a space cadet and is capable of becoming invisible.

Did you not watch last years finals series? Tupou was awesome and had a solid year this year too, he also offers something unique, that unparalleled aerial threat, except they need gave him a kick he could contest.

Walker, Tupou and Hoffman should all go - all three were useless on Saturday. I wasn't too impressed with Bird either, he seemed to just give away penalties.

If I were picking the team I'd go with:

Inglis
Moylan (if Inglis gets another virus he'll slot in much better at FB)
Jennings
Chambers
Mansour
Pearce (sorry, but better form than Hunt this year)
Cronk
Woods
Smith
Watmough
Scott
Bird (still need him for mongrel, but I don't know about him to be honest)
Parker

Jackson
Thaiday
Cordner
Mason (still knows how to hurt people)
Mason lol, he's so far past it he'd need an oxygen tank on the field

I didn't miss a game of last year's finals series mate, but this year Tupou was a space cadet and seemed to go missing in action way too often. He's safe under the high ball in defence, but on attack he's a bit hit and miss and isn't in the same class as Folau - who whilst playing Union is pretty well the same height and weight.
