In the past NZ has selecvted players for reserve grade sides to play for the Kiwis. Why not do it again with Floyd if he is up to it?

I thought he was a goalkicker as well though .... has he lost that job?

Also from that game - what about that Brothers centre who fell down like a sack of spuds after attempting a tackle late in the match?? Poor bugger, never stood a chance.

he is a goal kicker, maybe the best in the b/cup but i think they were giving the other bloe a go in preparation for dans immenent entry to the warriors.

Daniel is only 25. That was one helluva hit alright...almost as good as Adrian's
on the pussycat.......

Yep, he was. I actually wrote a longish post to this thread last evening
but the moment I posted, we had a mini outage and I didn't have time
to rewrite it.

The guts of it was ; I have never been able to find out the real story
behind what happened between Daniel and the Warriors. There are
vague references to his lack of defensive qualities, but that's about it.

Regardless of what, if anything, went down at the development squad,
I am continually amazed that he has not been picked up by any
NRL, QRL, ESL or French club.

I'm beginning to think he may simply be happy playing at the level
he is currently at and has no aspirations for higher honours.

All that said - he is THE best fullback in this country (including Webby).
Just witness the spectacular fall in fortunes for his Hibiscus Club last
year, when he was injured for most of the season.

Frustrating, incredibly frustrating.

Nah hes an excellent player however there are others quite cable of stepin up but i wudnt mind see him playin first grade
