You've all missed the point of the question

The question was "What does your top 5 greatest NRL players of all time list look like?"

My list contains letters, arranged in such a fashion that creates words. These words are attributed to individuals and are commonly known as "names". Not names such as merkin face or stinky pooh shoes, but the sort of names parents are known to provide their offspring with. Get here and hey you little shit would be popular out Penrith way.

Next to each of these "names" would be numbers to denote their importance on the list. Not impotence - that's when your bits don't work, but importance in the mind of the individual. Usually along the lines of this one played for my team, so I prefer him to that wanker from Queensland.

I get the sneaking suspicion that many of our lists will look rather similar. Except for ones with Remi Casty in them as obviously they just look stupid.

Top 5 greatest NRL players of all time
1. Andrew Johns
2. Darren Lockyer
3. Wally Lewis
4. Jarryd Hayne
5. Jonathan Thurston

Is your list similar? Also, out of curiosity, what would you rank David Klemmer from the Bulldogs (knew him from high school and just want your thoughts)
I think Jarryd Hayne is more like top 15, but if he proves himself at the Titans and maybe wins 1 or 2 finals over the next few years he can be top 5.

Andrew Johns is my number 1 no doubt and Billy Slater is probably 6th

Wally Lewis never played in the NRL.

1. Andrew Johns - first choice because of his defense.

2. Johnathan Thurston - a master with the ball in his hands. A true champion, and a great competitor.

3. Cameron Smith - I cannot stand the prick, but h's a brilliant player. Great defender, smart footy brain and a great kicking game. IMO he's a massive scumbag, but luckily I don't care about that; I only rate him on his football, and he's genuinely one of the greatest of all time.

4. Brad Fittler - a brilliant player. Tough, skillful and versatile, Freddy was also an inspirational leader.

5. Darren Lockyer - he was just class. A bog average goal kicker, but a classy player.
