sonny bill williams.... not gonna tell you what im skilled at
Assuming by NRL it's post 97 only.
1. Johns
2. Thurston
3. Smith
4. Lockyer
5. SBW
Pretty good, although if I put two Panthers in such a list I'd be a laughing stock. I'd put Cronk before Slater anyway, but Craig Gower ahead of them both.1. Johnathon Thurston
2. Cameron Smith
3. Andrew Johns
4. Billy Slater
5. Darren Lockyer

Surprised Dennis Ferguson didn't make your list.1. Mathias Cormann
2. Pope John Paul II
3. Tasesa Lavea
4. Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton
5. Count Dracula
Yeah I know. Took over captaincy of a wooden spoon team and took them to a premiership win in the NRL era in his second season he did. Won the Dally M too but it was taken from him. No-one from your joint has even come close.Craig Gower
Who said anyone from my club did?Yeah I know. Took a team from last to a premiership win in the NRL era he did. Won the Dally M too but it was taken from him. No-one from your joint has even come close.
3. Tasesa Lavea
1. Andrew Johns - first choice because of his defense.
2. Johnathan Thurston - a master with the ball in his hands. A true champion, and a great competitor.
3. Cameron Smith - I cannot stand the prick, but h's a brilliant player. Great defender, smart footy brain and a great kicking game. IMO he's a massive scumbag, but luckily I don't care about that; I only rate him on his football, and he's genuinely one of the greatest of all time.
4. Brad Fittler - a brilliant player. Tough, skillful and versatile, Freddy was also an inspirational leader.
5. Darren Lockyer - he was just class. A bog average goal kicker, but a classy player.

This is a woeful post. Cave plz
As so often happens, the point was missed. A Storm fan posted a list with an inordinate number of Storm players. Now I don't know if Craig Gower is in the best 5 players of the NRL era, but he achieved things no-one else did. At his best (2003-4) he was the best player in the game. It is my opinion that he was better than Slater, at least, as a ball player, a defender and especially as a leader. You don't have to agree, OK.Just lmao craig gower in the top 5 nrl players ever
