I was going to pick this up today or tomorrow - I can't resist much longer. Is it easy to adapt? I've been average to good (at times very good) as a NB2K player since they made their debut.

Question to all: I am hearing a LOT about Far Car 3? Any good? Thoughts?

Currently playing Pocket Tanks Deluxe. It's a small, simple, yet highly addictive tank artillery game. Basically, you take on either another player or AI. You takes turns picking out 10 weapons from a randomly generate field of 20 and start firing at each other in turns. Each player gets 10 shots to use all 20 weapons/defense systems they purchase. Unlike other tank games, this one does not involve anyone dying, rather, it's about scoring the highest number of points based on the weapons you use and how well you execute them. Angle and power play a big part in getting it right.

This video isn't mine, but it's simple gameplay to give you guys an idea what it's like:

I've been playing NBA2k13 non stop for a few weeks. Was getting drafted at 19 almost every time I started a new career, then finally worked out I should learn the controls first.

So I did that and got a double double in the rookies games only to get drafted at 21 (huh??) for Celtics as a PG behind Rondo. They usually push me to SG and after 8 games I'm getting about 16 - 24 mins a game.

Constantly scoring 30+ points and double figures in assists and we're on a 5 game win streak. I'm getting f**k all steals but average about 6 rebounds a game.

Best thing to do is get the app on iphone or android, then play the mini games for coins. I do the trivia one as 2 correct answers = 50 coins. It says you can only play once per 2k13 myplayer game but it hasnt stopepd me doing like 30 in a row. Also get onto the mylife facebook game. Not as many coins as the phone app but still helps. I started this guy with about 8k coins and was at 71 overall before I played my first game. MASSIVE help.

If you're playing a quick game use the Bulls with Jordan and Armstrong as the Guards (forget which year).... Beast team.

With NBA2k13 its also about what you're doing off the ball. Taking bad shots and scoring doesn't do shit all for your overall grade. Setting up a good screen or even just 'good off ball movement' bumps up the grade.

As for having trouble defending, even contesting the shot you get + grade if they make it. Even if Lebron is putting 30 on me but I contest the shots it doesn't hurt too much.

I usually get bored though and keep starting new careers.

It's very fun and an expansive game, but don't expect a five star storyline or character development.

Finished SRTT on Hardcore yesterday,no Genki around unfortunately

The hardest part was the first big mission vs STAG,when you hop in the
VTOL and have to f**k up 3 of their bases

Plus the deckers end mission because with lag the specialists were bullshit to kill

Wasn't using ALL of the weapons, but found a great mix of firepower
with all level 4 guns

Low armoured targets i was using the original SMG with explosive rounds

Medium armoured targets using the dual silenced pistols

High armour using the 2nd machine gun,not the AK nor the Laser Rifle
but the on that looks like the SiG from counterstrike

Groups reverted back to original SMG simply because it would make them die by fire

Rarely did i use Fart in a Jar,but it was hilarious

Vs Zombies i used the deckers sword, hit like a truck and blood included made it a little more fun
although on casual my geniused mate found it easier to use the penetrator than any gun

SR4 is going to be wilder? f**king bring that shit on guys,SRTT was brilliant in every aspect and shits all over GTA in my opinion,my reasoning is in GTA the cars drive too realistically,GTA4 feels REAL to me,when i want to cause havoc and mayhem i want it to be in your face, over the top and sometimes (As was the gimp powered rickshaw chase) completely off the f**king hook,SRTT made me laugh and gave me the best sandbox experience i have had since WC:privateer (Litterally,in Wing Commander : Privateer you tripped over the storyline my first time after about 16 hours of gameplay)

Just started playing GTAIII last night for the first time in like 10 years (flatmate who owns Xbox 360 also has GTAIII/VC/SA three pack for original Xbox).
I only ever rented out GTAIII but never finished the story mode (like I did for VC/SA which I used to have on PS2), so that's now my current videogame obsession. Then once that's done will make my way through Vice City & San Andreas again for old times sake. Love those games.

Both are good games, I also bought Max Payne 3 for $5 in the sale they did on Tuesday.

Been playing a shitload of Rocksmith, now to nail the Sweet Home Alabama riff.
