What i liked about tonight

He did the same last week against the Broncos. Maybe Keating is being left on the field too long and getting tired.

That has to come in to it, he does a lot of defensive work early. I don't think he deserves some of the flak he gets. He really isn't an 80 minute hooker though, but he's used like on.

They had a dig 2 nite. Happy with that. Sk just needs to get them doing it regularly. Hayne seems 2 b cursed this year, at least this yr we have halves who can still provide attack when Hayne is gorne

Yeah thought you guys looked pretty good tonight, massive improvement over last week. Unfortunately for you guys you just had no luck tonight, the injuries really cruelled your chances. But I reckon you'll win a fair few if you keep on like that.

What I liked can be summed up in one word: energy.

We were energetic with the ball, running hard and fast and playing quickly.
We were energetic in defence, coming up quick and hitting hard.

Liked it.

i like Sandow running to the line more he needs to do it more often.

He's our only player along with Roberts now that Hayne is out that can turn nothing into something

His try showed just why he is going to be so important for us. With him doing that, the defence can't cheat off him and cover Hayne, Tonga, Reni etc. They have to be worried about his running threat and that makes the others so much more potent.

I thought that combination worked well in the first half, and ok it wasnt great in the second half but theres signs there about how the halves are going to go well this year.

1 thing that looked good tonight was seeing Willie Tonga back in the blue and gold!

backline im predicting to be named tomorrow

1. Hayne
2. Sio
3. Morgan
4. W. Tonga
5. Blair

nope just think SK will hold his cards close to his chest. Plaus i think someone posted that Hayne is hopeful of being right for saturday

Ah fair enough.
I hope he plays but I just don't think it's worth the risk, especially now we have sandow and Roberts who can create things in attack. Yes we looked more dangerous when hayne was on but at least we kept attacking afterwards

People are forgetting that we took the Warriors on and nearly beat the Grand finalists. And we did this without Hayne and Hindmarsh.

There were some positives out there for sure, amongst some periods of frustration during the 80mins as a whole.

But lets not forget that the Warriors were without... Rapira, Luck, Lillyman, Ropati?

100%

In 2012 if Hayne went down like that we would've got flogged. People like to bag the coach but the fight we have in us from last year is credit to SK imo.

We now have players in Sandow, Willie Tonga, Roberts, Sio and Maitua who are very dangerous in attack. Sio and Maitua will benefit with both Sandow and Roberts there feeding them the ball.

We will worry alot of teams this imo.

and on Hayne, i hope he is rested tbh i don't want him to be rushed back out there.

Our attack has improved on both last week and last year just by seeing tonights performance.

but we can't ignore some calls that were gifted to Warriors in the game. Friends forward pass and knock on by Vatuvai in the air. the refs were horrible (not that it's an excuse)

Hayne went down once like that in 2012 and we were in that game until the last five minutes.

Odds are good Kearney will name him...but I doubt he will play. Mullaney to the back please

Fo shizzle.

Hayne will be named at 1 with Mullaney to come into the side "at the last minute" to avoid media exposure.

They might even fail to name someone in one of the bench jerseys just so Mullaney's debut shirt doesn't have some gash number on it. Like Loko's debut in number 15 last year.

What I liked about tonight was the EFFORT. I was impressed by
Poore - His best ever game for the Eels
Sio - Natural Talent
Blair - Still Learning but potential
Sandow - Needs more support
MoiMoi - Super Stong
Paulo - Our best 2nd row option

Thanks mate.

From an outsider's perspective I reckon the Warriors are by far the best attacking team in the comp. Daylight second.

When your best player (Johnson) can have such a quiet game and you still rack up six tries against a strong defence like ours, shows how much firepower your club's got.

With Sandow and Roberts playing I actually think we're a chance of winning next week without Hayne. As long as we play an actual fullback at the back.
