Because every 15 seconds on Nine's league coverage one of their commentators gives a plug for some crap TV show currently airing on Nine, like The Voice, Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, etc. Drives me up the wall, and I don't blame Fox for wanting none of it.

From someone who actually works the joint: the reason for it is not only for the replays ? it's also when using the footage in future years, like if there's a great play in the grand final or the team lifting the trophy, there's a Fox voice underneath it, not Rabs.

Watched a replay of the Roosters/Tigers semi in 2010, it had Braybrook and Daley calling, not pretty hearing them both doing that classic match.

But prefer Warren Smith and Alexander than some of the stuff Ch 9 commentators dish out.

With Fox, you wont hear.
