What is your favourite Fitzy moment?

With the great man returning to the fold I thought we could take trip down memory lane and remember some of Daniel Fitzhenrys spectacular contributions to the Wests Tigers over the years.

I remember the countless running sideways, submitting in tackles, the ever effective donuts and my personal favourite, the standing completely out of position whilst his center (usually Collis) has drawn his winger and created room down the sideline, Fitzy meanwhile snoozed 10m in backplay.

What are your most lasting memories of the Donut King himself?

Some of mine include:

Round 8 2005 V Dragons - tigers up 24-12 at the break, then trent barrett launches an aerial raid at Fitzy who drops every single bomb. Saints storm home to win 40-32

Round 21 2007 V Titans - being co-catpain in a must win game Fitzy steps up and makes 4m from 2 hit ups, inspirations stuff

Round 11 2006 V Warriors - a Warriors player makes a break and Fitzy playing fullback, jogs next to him, then pats him on the back as he slides over to score

Round 18 2007 V Manly - a bomb goes up no one is within 20m,Fitzy thinks quickly and headbutts the ball 10m past the deadball line, manly score from the drop out

2006 round 1. caught the ball 1m out, all he had to do was fall over the line, yet he still managed to drop it

Was like watching Alan Shearer climb at the far post.
The St George game in 05 was special as well .. cost us the game

I'd have to go for this. I believe we also let the Dragons score 2 tries from their own kick off that game too. Amazing to think that just a few months later, we ended up being the best team in the comp.

:lol::lol: So many memories. I cant believe he is back what the f**k  That dragons game was special, Gasnier made him look like a school boy. I remember walking back to the car after the game 9/10 fans walking past screaming for "Blitzy Fitzy" to be sacked.
My favourite Fitzy memory however was from I think 07 cant remember the round, against Parra. Fitzy catchhes the ball from a clearing kick to his wing, then proceeds to bring the ball back, jogs at Eric Grothe who smashes him. Fitzy goes flying about 10 mtrs backwards & loses the ball. Grothe casually picks up the ball & strolls over the line. A classic Fitzy moment.

I think his positive contributions as a winger have far out weighed the acheivements of Beu Ryan. In saying that tho i beleive they are both very average and the club surely must have better options then both of them.

ryan is heaps better than that hack, he atleast has the strength to break tackles and is very safe under the high ball, not like that f***ing POS fitzhenry

Yeah I agree, it's super having a winger who hasn't scored a single try which wasn't a walk in. Tuiaki breaks tackles. Ryan breaks hearts.
