What Lyon did is NOT right

Very true Colonel. And for those saying "why didnt he make this decision before the season started." Maybe there were circumstances that only arose in the last week or so. We cant all see into the future you know, and you never know what is around the corner. At no point has he bagged the club out in this so we just have to support him and hope that he makes the right decision for the only one that counts... Himself!

as what he did aint right

the dude is having big personal problems that have far greater importance than football at the moment!

man his personal needs come first and of course im sure he is feeling sad that he has had to leave the team behind!

As I've said in a previous post when it comes a time when the supporters and club need Jamie more than Jamie needs the club we need to let him be. He is a pretty unique guy and definetly not your typical footballer lair, and seems to relish the simpler things in life. whatever decision he ultimitely makes I wish him all the best .

Unfortunatley personal problems don't always crop up at the most convenient of times for those around us.
I thought he look committed at the GC trial. I guess something major happened between now and then?

If Jamies heart isnt in the game he should have some time off to get his problems and life back in order. Them see where things take him from their.

Let me begin by saying Lyon is one of my fav players.

But I do not support Lyon on his decision, if he wanted out he should have done it before preseason
not after round 1. Now the club is stuck without a replacement and with lot of salary cap tied to him.
If he had quit last season we could have kept Tonga or bought a suitable replacement.

Dont get me wrong, I respect his personal life and I understand he has issues, but it is not fair for him
to do this now without thinking about the impact its going to have on the club and team morale.

I still hope he comes back. If not thanks for the memories Jamie.

Professional athletes, always wanting more
