Two Guns, Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. 7.5. Great action flick and the two leads work really well together.

Pain and Gain, Mark Wahlberg and The Rock. 5. Too much pain not enough gain. Turned off after about the tenth character started in with the voice over of their life story. Boring, badly written waste of time.

Tried to watch Transformers: Age of Extinction three times now. It's just. so. f**king. bad.

Awful story. Awful acting. Awful dialogue. Awful use of Transformers. More awful use of Decepticons. Criminal underuse of Dinobots.

I want Michael Bay and Nicholas Sparks to f**k one another while getting blown up.

Transformers 2, 3 & 4 are perhaps the three worst movies I've ever seen at the cinema.

How I allow myself to be convinced by friends to go see them is beyond me. I guess it's just for a laugh and to socialise.

But I found myself shaking my head and cringing throughout.

#4 might be the first movie I've ever been completely unable to sit through, even in making fun of it.

Even Alien vs Predator and Safe Haven were more tolerable.

Watched Anchorman 2 again after originally watching it on its release. Thought I would give it another shot purely because I kept thinking to myself 'it couldn't of been AS bad as I remember it, surely there was a few good jokes in there that I must of missed etc etc'

To my dismay it was actually far far worse than I even remember it had been, what an absolutely woeful sequel to one of the great cult comedies of the last decade.

Safe Haven were more tolerable.

Last for mine was the Pink Panther, the one with Steve Martin. So awful.

There is a another one on these transformers on the way. Bay will make 10 of these and they will all make a motza. Hard to imagine how #5 could be worse though.

"My face is a warrant!"

Worst line in a movie ever. I literally laughed out loud at it, and not in an appreciative way.

I'm still yet to see the latest Transformers but am thinking about seeing it tomorrow.

I think the first 3 are ok. I don't get annoyed by the dumb or "racist" humour like others do, but I find them a bit confusing during some of the action.

10 years ago, being a child of the 80's, I never thought I'd pass up an opportunity to see a Transformers film at the cinema, but this one...

I watched it last week, mainly for the Dinobots. Sadly they are hardly in the movie, I thought it was better than the third one but that was hardly a wrap. Special effects were great but not much else going for it.

I watched Dawn of the planet of the apes over the weekend, absolutely fantastic film. This series bucks the trend of reboots being utterly crap.

Honestly how can you go wrong with machine gun toting apes on horseback?

Aside for that though, Andy Serkis has done a phenomenal job at portraying Caesar, its shame there isn't a Academy Award for Motion capture as he would romp it in for the win.

So I saw Trans4mers and yeah, it was what it was. They really need to simplify things with these films. They're just too long, too busy, too complex. I think Bay can give us some good action, he just needs to stop trying to outdo himself.
