Inbred - a crazy slasher flick that, at times, made me laugh. I only watched it because someone here mentioned it some time ago (RhinoNQ?).

4/10

Identity Thief - a supposed comedy filled with the usual Hollywood bullshit which raised a few smiles. I'm quite sure it's the first movie that I've seen with Melissa McCarthy in it who I know little about except she is apparently the world's highest paid actress.

Took me a long time but....

World War Z.

I'm almost certain there must be a Hollywood Zombie Extras School as going back to I Am Legend and beyond, every zombie has the same facial expressions and bodily tics and twitches.

Even Brad Pitiful couldn't save this steaming pile of turd.

Fast 8.

Enjoyed it... but you really have to go in to the movie leaving your brain at the door to get full enjoyment out of it.

Not a lot of it actually makes sense... :joy::joy:

But sometimes you need a good popcorn movie like that...

Watched Big Trouble In Little China with the kids laxt night. Their first time and they were loving it. Such a perfect 90 minute joyride.
Ohhh shit.... I love that movie...

I haven't seen it for at least 5 years... I might have to watch it tonight I reckon...

Thanks for the reminder mate...

Interestingly I saw an interview with Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi recently... and he was talking about how Big Trouble In Little China was his inspiration for this film... and that's what he was trying to make...

Try to watch the classics in school holidays:

Ghostbusters
Goonies
Gremlins
Big Trouble in Little China
Indiana Jones
Back to the Future
The Rocketeer
The Last Starfighter
Karate Kid

There's only so many time I can watch The Cat in the Hat or Pixar films.

I remember "Big Trouble in Little China" getting bad reviews and flopped at the box office. Absolute cult classic.Any other movies that are more appreciated now than when it was released?

Swiss Army Man. One of the weirdest movies you will see, but it is very enjoyable.
About a guy who is alone on an island about to kill himself when a body washes ashore.
You will either go along for the ride or hate it. Watch this trailer to get an idea

Re-watched the first 3 Underworld movies over Easter. Entertaining as f**k. Love the werewolves in these flicks, they are big ugly brutes the way they are supposed to be, not like Hollywood's current thing of making them turn into normal wolves. That's so lame. Dog Soldiers and Underworld have the best werewolves in movies imo.

Tonight will watch the 4th and then the 5th, which i haven't seen before.
