Heretic. 8.5. Really liked it. Interesting story, but very wordy and probably not for the overly religious.

It really relied on the main characters acting and Hugh Grant was excellent.

Carry On - Netflix movie with Edgerton and Bateman. People are REALLY overrating this movie. An okay watch but internet land is comparing it to Die Hard......lol. Bateman is a great watch as a villain. The rest is okay....not great. 2.5 out of 5.

I watched this Monday night. I liked it, Bateman was excellent.

Not in the same universe as Die Hard though, not that that is a bad thing, Die Hard is a pretty high bar.

Speaking of Die Hard, going to see this at the Roxy cinema here in Wellington on Sunday to truly get into the festive spirit!

I love a good retro screening, I swear I've seen at least double the amount of old movies compared to new movies at the cinema since 2020, it's great seeing old favourites on the big screen finally after only ever having seen multiple times on TV/VHS since childhood! Went to Top Secret last month, felt weird seeing it without all the adbreaks I remember from my recorded-off-TV version growing up hah!

Well this has me nervous for this movie, for a James Gunn movie it looks suspiciously like a Hack Snyder movie in tone/slow mo etc.

Ah well, it's just a first trailer ...

Geezuz, how many bloody Superman movies are they going to make. Seems like there's a remake every couple of years. Batman and Spiderman too. Keep it up though, maybe one day they'll make one worth watching.

Watched The God's Must be crazy.
I had never seen it previously but was inspired after travelling around Africa. It's a little bit slapstick but still pretty funny overall a 6/10.

Nosferatu. 7.5. Needed more Count Orloch and DeFoe.

Could have been 20-30 mins shorter as well but overall pretty good.

Gladiator 2. It was fine as a standalone, but a bit disappointing when you compare to the first one. It could have been so much more, it felt like they phoned it in a bit.

Just watched the 3 Terrifier movies. Definitely big on the gore and ok practical effects. Old school 80s horror/ slasher.

The 3rd film definitely takes it up a notch. You can tell they had more money to play with for each subsequent film.

A bit of fun. Art the Clown is quite funny in some scenes.
