Its blu ray so the quality is sooooo much better than you'd get on dvd. I mainly got it for the making of doco. When you watch that you understand why it stands alone as a great popcorn flick as well as a sequel.

Thanks for the reply, I have been running some of my older DVDs through the system to check them out, Jaws 2 which I bought from the states quite a few years ago looks really sharp, the dvd has the same extras that are on the new blu ray release so I don't think I will upgrade, even though I have watched the movie I haven't watched the extras apart from the deleted scenes. Some other movies that especially released in the early days on dvd are appalling looking now and some not formatted in a proper widescreen format, a lot of those are being weeded out.
The first blu ray disc I bought was The Towering Inferno from the UK, the quality of that blew me away and the extras are fantastic.

Absolutely Fabulous the Movie, if you a fan of the series you will probably enjoy it, some really funny parts, some really cringe worthy moments too, it is about half way there, enjoyable enough but not earth shattering either
Janes Horrocks as Bubble is fantastic, Rebel Wilson has a great cameo and loved seeing Emma Bunton and LuLu.

Legend - Tom Hardy plays both the Kray twins as early London gangsters. 7/10.

Chook.

Saw this on fox the other day, thought it was pretty good too but it seemed a bit short, didn't have much detail about the prison time and would have liked a bit more of a background on the brothers relationship. Still decent though, Tom Hardy is a good actor

One of the Podcasts I listen to had a great idea. Have the part where Reggie met Bronson in prison and Hardy playing that part again.

The bit when he's in the car and starts screaming would have been the point where I abandon the child...

unfortunately part of the recipe for a decent screenplay for movie/tv is either a female lead you want to punch in the face or a kid you want to punch in the face

Just watched Species 1, 2 and 3 back to back.

Very ordinary wannabee sci-fi with one highlight.

Natasha Hendridge.

I would crawl over 20 kilometres of broken glass to throw stones at a steaming pile of her shit.

Jason Bourne. Matt Damon with Paul Greengrass directing knock it out of the park again. Very subdued, but excellent performance from Tommy Lee Jones as the notional villain. A massive improvement on The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner.

bronson was great, Tom Hardy has an impressive range. If you watched locke and bronson straight after and said it was the same guy the uneducated would struggle to believe you

Sausage Party.

Weak sauce. 1/5.

Not many laughs. Went in with low expectations and it succeeded in being shit. Thought their might be a few chuckles, but no.
