What Movies Have You Seen III

Odd Thomas.

Creepy little film. It doesn't know if it wants to he a thriller or a comedy/horror. Anton Yelchin gives good service as the man who can see, and help, the dead.

I believe it was butchered in editing though which might explain the unevenness.

Still, entertaining...until you have those weird moments of 'oh...he's dead now...'.

If you haven't read the book, check that out, much better.

Mad max Fury Road. I forced myself to keep watching as punishment for starting to watch.
I seriously put that on a par with Barb Wire.

So hyped up for this movie when it came out and ended up with a combination of tomcat piss and leper vomit.

Any millisecond of Mad Max 1 and 2 would make the combination of Thunderdome and Fury Road look like something that would dribble out of Jocelyn Wilderstein's anus.

Oh f**k....that was profound!

Certainly a movie you either love or hate.....no in-between at all. I loved it but can see why some don't

the honest trailer for fury road is brilliant, says alot when the main plot change means turning left. I enjoyed it, the lack of cgi and full on practical effects was a nice change.

Hyena Road - Based on a Canadian sniper team in Afghanistan. I quite enjoyed the movie, the movie does appear low budget in parts but worth a watch if you like war movies.

Train to Busan.

Not even the K-Drama moments of sop and girly man weeping could touch the sheer awesomeness of this zombie flick. They're might be some juice oeft in this genre yet.

Thirteen days. With Kevin Costner from 2000 about the Cuban missile crisis. Never got around to seeing this before but it is really good and scary that it is based on true events of how close we came to WWIII.
Thanks very much Zoid for the recommendation,

Surprisingly good movie that I'd never heard of before.

Kept me captivated for its entirety.

Not a gun fired, nor a car chase or a fist fight in its 2 hours and 25 minutes. Is that a record for Hollywood?

8.5/10
