What player were you most devastated to see leave your club?

I heard about some news that Christiano Ronaldo looks set to leave Man U. The tissue companies will run out of stock shortly due to my devastation.

Which bring me to this subject. What players departure devastated you the most from your club?

I'd have to say Scott Prince from the Wests Tigers. I bare no grudges against Prince as he paid his dues for our club over and over again. I'll always respect his immense contribution to our club. But, every Wests Tigers fan knew in their gut that we were in deep kaka from the moment he left. We are still feeling the effects of his departure today.

Brasher's departure was also sad, but he also paid his dues in a big way. While he did not turn out to be a big loss, Glenn Morrison also put a ffew holes in my heart when he left the club that nurtured him. Unlike Brasher and Prince, he did not pay his dues.

Not apart of my club, but It still cuts me up how SBW left the game. Although what he did was wrong, it still shows a major flaw in our games management. He was the only reason I watched the Bulldogs play last year.

From Parra, there are no real stand outs that I can recall. Dean Pay, Andrew Ryan, Willie Tonga, Jamie Lyon. Probably Tonga considering how good he got at his peak. But what goes up sure as hell has gone down in his case.

Always sad to see any player that is a one club man be forced out for the last couple of seasos of their career due to salary cap.

I always said we should have released Vaealiki in order to keep Willie Tonga

PJ Marsh should have been able to retire as an Eel.. not be let go twice.

Hmmm...

I don't think I've been truly devastated as I was when we lost Wendall Sailor and Lote Tuqiri to Union. At 11, they were my favourite players and to lose them (and from a QLD perspective Rogers as well) was earth shattering. I didn't think we'd be a chance at Origin for quite some time and I was right.

The last player who truly surprised me, was Civoniceiva. I never expected to see him leave but as the media began to catch wind of the story I knew he was as good as gone.

Must say losing Taylor has left me feeling shell shocked. I thought he'd be the next big thing at prop for the Broncos but attitude, commitment and money got in the way. Such a shame but I hope he goes well for Souths and becomes a revelation for QLD.

Sad when Wiki left.

Angry when Joel Monaghan left. Especially when it was announced on the sunday footy show with Gould sitting there quietly gloating.
