When Wiki left the Raiders we were absolutely devestated. When we discovered that they cheated the cap to sign him it made it even worse.

Simon Bonetti as well. brought about a great work ethic and i think was one of the main reasons we were so good in the forwards in 02.

Ali Lauiti'iti. Especially because he basically reverted to his old, half-arsed self at Leeds and they have pretty much put up with it. Ali has to shoulder a lot of the blame as well I think, he just never really wanted it enough. Could've been the best player in the world.

Iafeta Paleaaesina, for similar reasons. Should be one of the starting props for the Kiwis atm but instead is basically forgotten. I still think signing Wiki was a dumb move, that money should have gone to Paleaaesina. After developing nicely in 2004 he was pretty much consigned to a permanent bench role in 2005 and that was always going to be the end of him. As far as I can tell he is currently overweight and fairly anonymous at Wigan.

For the Knights it has to be Matty Johns. It was devastating for Knights fans to see him go and although we still won the GF the next year it was a shame we wasnt there to help joey hold up the trophy considering he still made more of a contribution to that team that what Sean Rudder did that year.
I was pretty angry that he was forced out of the club as well. BK was sad but given the injury run he had it kinda had to be done. I can't help but feel that we missed out on Matt Gidley's best years as well...
