To be honest i`m running out of ideas.I can`t see how a second rate Pommy is the answer. What about Michael Vella? Before people start jumping down my throat, have a think about who`s available and you`ll find that there aren`t too many if any better options left!

I think Paleaasina re-signed with the Warriors. There's guys like Ned Catic, Craig Stapleton, Jamian Lowe, Jamie McDonald, Robert Tanielu (the guy who knocked Lincoln Withers out a couple of years ago giving him bleeding to the brain), Kylie Leuluai, Frank Puletua, Dale Newton, David Thompson and Karl TeMata left. Not alot of experience and talent there but a few bargin buys there.

Yeah he did resign

Out of those Stapleton, Leuluai (who can come back home) and TeMata I would look at - I remember last year I tried to get the club to go after TeMata but they said he didn't want to leave NZ hopefully he has changed his tune because he has a hell of alot of potential, then of course the main one we should go after if Webb look at how well he played last night!

Before you look at how well Webb went in the last two weeks you should ask yourself how well has he gone in the last two years. Smells like contract time performances to me. Even Webb's alter ego Owen can turn on some fantastic performances every now and again (around contract time).

problem is he is a cowboy but everytime he gets a start in 1st's he does his job real well runs the ball hard, defence is a worry but that is not the issue here he is big and strong and loves to run the ball hard all day...... now i dont no if he is off contract or not but i will be emailing steve noyce this, lets get JAIMEN LOWE.......

Carl Webb would be without doubt my no-1 target. But as he can also be effective playing second row,I still think we need another prop.Personally I don`t rate any of the current Warriors forwards and if you look at the stats (I know stats don`t mean everything) you will find that virtually none of the available props currently playing 1st grade have stats to show they do much better than we already have.Webb is the exeption. With this in mind I reckon that you might as well look to props currently playing Premier League stuck behind quality players at their current club.I`ve only seen a handfull of Premier League games this year along with a fair few last year and from what i`ve seen I reckon these players more than likely would make an impact making the jump up to the top grade:
George Rose-Big strong powerful runner of the ball.but I think I heard that he signed for 2 years with the Roosters last year.
Peter Lewis-Also a big strong powerful runner of the ball, done well in limited 1st grade appearances last year.He is the rock of Penrith-St Marys very successful Premier League side. Not sure on his availability.
Josh Cordoba-Don`t know too much about him or his availability, but he is one of the best young props i`ve seen in quite a while.Has good size, good mobility and is a very intimidating type.Just what we need.

Leuluai made 7 first grade appearances for Balmain from the bench in 1999. He followed this up with 2 first grade appearances from the bench for the Wests Tigers in 2000 before being cut by Lamb.

Just because he hasn't been in first grade doesn't mean his not up to scratch. Unless you been watching him play in toowoomba for the last two years that is!!

Seems to me there are some personality issues up there with Webb and Bennent!!

Let's not forget that he has played SOO and he still is better that what we have at the Tigers and Magpies.

Ps Tonga wasn't that good last year according to some people.

I don`t think Yappy was talking about him playing reserve grade, but the fact is that every year you will find that quite a few players become good 1st graders despite playing mainly or all reserve grade in the years previously!
