Given this thread is a damn good effort at flaming I’m loathe to comment but stuff it I will. If you really want to compare the cultural state of each game when it comes to racism start at the top. Look at the frequent recent episodes of racism reported by players across multiple afl clubs by players in the past few years. In particular the allegations against two of their top coaches. And I’d suggest if you really want to see racism as a cultural issue go no further than Collingwood and Hawthorn. Finally note how the administration of the afl tries to sweep these incidents under the carpet. Thats my ten cents worth. Continue on.

Lodge gets booed everytime he touches the ball at every single ground. Aaron Woods got booed relentlessly just 4 weeks ago at campbelltown. I’d say that by far the 2 most booed players of the last decade are Paul Gallen and Cam Smith.

As others have said no one had an issue with Latrell when he was at Easts, and the hate he gets has mainly been since he broke Manus face then thugged it up for the rest of the game. Plus 95% of boos he gets are from Roosters fans. I’ve never heard him get booed once at a tigers home game.

From what I know about the Goodes situation it certainly seemed racially motivated, from memory he was booed at every ground in Melbourne.

Who’s the most popular player in the NRL atm? I’d say it’s undoubtedly Nicho Hynes. It’s clear that you’re just after some outrage by the fact that you never actually post about footy, just shit like this.
