I was banned cos a certain mod took me too seriously. The threats I made against him proved too much for him and he relinquished his mod status soon after, as i demanded. I was only joking though. f**k that was good for a laugh eh?

Well said moderator had an image to uphold, and releasing pictures of him felching seven bald men whilst fisting a Sherrin would have severely dented that.

As long as all the bald men consented it's not my place to judge...
You say that but you don't mean it. I've seen you call people bigots and such for making similar comments. I used to say stuff like that too and still think it occasionally but no longer say stuff like that.
Many years ago when I was doing my apprenticeship, I became good mates with a bloke who worked there too. One of his childhood mates was rumoured to be gay and old mate and his mates( and me sometimes) payed out on this poor prick mercilessly. One day, this bloke was found hanging from the rafters in his roof through the manhole in the ceiling. My mate and his mates just assumed this merkin did it cos he couldn't handle being gay. I wondered if the things that were said to poor ole GAF (as we called him) didn't make him top himself. Maybe he just couldn't handle the ridicule and not being accepted for who he was?
Since then, I have tried extremely hard not to say that kind of stuff to someone, even in jest as it plays on my conscience. You just never know mate.

What?

I like you, so I'm not even going to begin to point out how wrong everything you've assumed here is.

I will say, FTR, that I call El Dipshit a bigot because he happily uses homophobic slurs, not because he says "go suck a dick" or whatever. I call hindy1Illiterate a bigot because he started tossing it around without knowing what it meant after Gary asked why all his insults seem to involve male genitalia....

And I'm calling you a hypocrite cos you said EL D was felching 7 bald men. You may as well be calling him a androtop. You then say as long as it was consensual, who are you to judge. If your so hip and non homophobic, why would you judge? Shoudn't your default setting be no judgement anyway? I didn't insinuate you were judging.
I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy as I see it. It's like when someone says "so n so takes it up the blurter the f**king nice person. Not that there's anything wrong with that", in a sarcastic tone with a knowing grin and then claims to not be homophobic. It's a double standard as far as I'm concerned. To me it reeks of dis ingenuity. Id rather have a beer with a nice person. A genuine nice person.

That's a sad story mate. Even in these supposedly enlightened times I reckon that happens far too often. And tbc I'm not talking about Baz's comment, but I do think that in general the people most likely to throw stones are actually those who live in glass houses. I don't mean they're gay but they have their own insecurities. Unfortunately I think it's human nature for those near the bottom rung to kick out at anyone below.

Absolute f**king horseshit.

You're the one assuming that an off-hand comment on a forum about judgement means a goddamned thing about anyone. It was a continuation of a very clearly tongue in cheek discussion, nothing more.

In fact, you're the one starting from a position that there is something wrong with felching men specifically. As though you can't see that the actual intent was to stick shit on a noted homophobe and tough-talker who clearly has a fixation on baldness and the AFL and a history of squirming when confronted with at least two of those three. Your takeaway was the implied homosexuality angle, so I could turn the same rubbish back on you for the way you have chosen to interpret the comment. And by implying that being "non-homophobic" is simply being "hip". Or, in fact, by implying that the judgment would be related to homosexual acts in general and not the clearly disgusting, to most people, act of felching.

You have made an awful lot of assumptions based on actually knowing f**k all about the person you are making them about, and then gone on to do exactly what you've criticised that person for doing based on utterly abysmal assumptions.

Everyone has insecurities and I'm not Robinson Carusoe in that regard. What you say about kicking out at anyone below(or perceived to be) is probably spot on. I'm not trying to give Baz a hard time. Well, not too hard a time lol. I suppose I'm just reflecting on something i observed once upon a time and how it affected me and the conclusions I drew from that experience. I'll give it a rest now.

Well you have the ability for self reflection, which is lacking in many. And Baz may be an arse at times but if you're gonna criticize someone for making gay slurs then I reckon there's a couple of others who deserve it more.

It's not entirely about the gay slurs. It's about labeling others bigots and homophobes and then making sly gay slurs himself. I have been known to make homophobic comments. It's the way we were bought up and how it is. I don't call others out on it like I never do it though. I'm just pointing that out.

Yeah that's fair enough too.
