We have copped hidings in the past because we had a team chock full of loosers with looser mentalities.

Try telling Fergo, Dylan, Gower, Reedy, Junior, Jaemon, Sivo, Gutho, Lurch, and Junior (and even Mennings) that they don't deserve to win matter who they are playing.

Only a few merkins in the squad have a winning record:

100% Drown
100% Sivo
55% Mahoney
53% Evans
51% Mennings

Salmon is at exactly 50%

Not at all.
I am confident that for a long time now, we have had players who are "half glass empty" and when they get some early points put on them, they adopt a "we have lost this mentality" and so a hiding happens.
The players I named above are to my eyes at least, "half glass full" players and will keep thinking they can come back from wherever they are on the scoreboard.

@Avenger mate, there are 3 things I use on here that I wouldn't in the real world... loosers instead of losers, merkin instead of whatever I feel like saying and "i'm excited" as homage to the great Hineyrulz, the biggest looser merkin on LU.
