Ok fine you f*#king babies...

Hayne left at the end of 2014, he returned in 201

I just can’t get behind that logic. Manning’s isn’t going to be an Eel (I think) in 2020 anyway. It would surprise me if he is, even though I think he gets a bad wrap.

But Hayne for 2 years? As Corey Norman would say, “Yeah, nah”

Are you drunk? You still aren't making sense. You had a cry by calling us babies and then you said he went back in time? left at the end of 2014 and came back in 201? I don't think they played rugby league in 201?

In the rumours thread someone posted that Eels were planning to keep Moses Mennings and we have been promised first dibs on Gutho after he tests the market.

The fact we are showing more in 3 rounds this year then we did in 25 last year with Hayne says enough for me.

I was okay for him returning last year, the guy just brings a media circus and bullshit that our young kids do not need, his attitude and his work ethic is the LAST thing we need right now.

I still think that is just too simple. One thing that i don't think a lot of fans want to accept is that after 2017 the club cut multiple coaching positions and were mandated to cut costs so BA and Burnie were doing duel roles that just doesn't happen in any other clubs.

There was then a review that took place that stated we needed MORE resources IF we wanted to be successful.

Those are facts, what we don't know is whether Hayne was a bad influence on the team (although plenty of people who are trusted on here had word that he was a positive influence on the club this time) so stating it as fact when it could have been a coincidence with the coaching cut backs that were placed on BA.

Just about everyone wanted him re-signed for this year, before the charges. If he is not guilty then what has changed?

I would not complain if BA wanted him but i am equally as happy if the club moves on from him if the chance arose for him to come back to the club.

Regardless of all that, he is currently involved in 2 sexual assault charges. We don't need that shit at the club anymore end of. I had heard different about his attitude and it was rubbing off onto others, a leopard does not change his spots.

I hate the save draft feature. It’s stupid.

He has not been charged for the USA one, so that is also not factual they couldn't charge him due to lack of any evidence. It is a civil case that anyone could raise against someone.

You heard it on facebook, or a friend of a friend of a friend?

Like i said, it may or may not be true but you can't state things as facts if you actually do not have actual proof especially when the facts we do know about last year could easily explain why the team performed poorly.

One thing you may be right about though is that maybe we don't need to bring him back to find out, let's just let him go, even if he is found not guilty or charges are dropped.

I would be ok with Mennings sticking around, I like him and always have. Maybe they will re-sign him, what do I know?

He won the Dally M in 2014........i'm a little confused by what you actually meant?

We should move on from him and i would imagine that we very much have but whatever point you are trying to make is terribly confusing because he also played very well last year when he was on the field.
I don't think the problem ever was Hayne's on-field form, it's his influence on his team mates.

It's a team sport, and you just can't pick and choose when you train hard even if that's how you play your best footy. Resentment is real, and dudes don't want team mates like that. Cameron Smith has half the natural ability Hayne has, yet I bet he's been the hardest worker at his club in every one of his 18 years in first grade. That sort of thing has a huge impact on the people around you, especially once a player is that influential.

No, he could not.

What is with the fascination of MJ hate?

MJ is still a quality defender and brilliant in attack, him any day over Hayne. Simply for his defence.
Jennings is another one who can rest on his laurels, and I'm sure his attitude last year also contributed to the general drop in attitude around the club - he is an Origin and premiership winning 200 game veteran, after all. But he also seems like a bit of a follower, and I wouldn't be surprised if his attitude dropped because he saw what Hayne gets away with.

Hayne is a better player than Jennings, but not as good defensively. Jennings would be a great retention, assuming his price was right.

I'm happy to go with whatever they decide, if it did become a possibility. However I'd be more excited with him in the team rather than out.
I too would go with whatever decision, but i would prefer we just put him behind us and move on

I dont think he was a major factor in last years shit .... just a coincidence

Where’s your proof that rugby league wasn’t played in 201?

Good point. I have none, you got me.

So Hayne has a time machine, i would have thought he would have used it to go back in time and fix other things but i guess travelling to 201 was a better option for him. Would be pretty smelly there i'd imagine.......and dark most of the time.......weird time to go back to actually.
