I still hate the raffle ticket sellers, and the bar service in the ET stand is pathetic this year.

When I walked into the game today, about 5 minutes into the first half, some chick tried to stop me and sell me a raffle ticket from a spot where I couldn't even see the action. What the f**k are they thinking??????????????????????

Feej,

If you think you cheer madly now.... when we look like winning nothing, just imagine what it was like when all --- YES ALL--- the other clubs feared playing us....

p-30-7.jpg

You can joke about the meccano grandstand - at least we had respect.

Think about that me little chin wag when you venture down to Endeavour Oval next time and see the fear in the opposition eyes as our boys run out.

Luckily for me and a few others in here we have seen the "fear factor'

and we couldnt give a sh!t about who sat in the meccano stand.

I hope for your sake and mine that we both live long enough to see it again.

It was a great time....

Feej ... 73 was a great year.

You probably wouldnt know who we flogged on our way to our first ever GF.

Twas a side called St Geoge, then Newtown. We wuzzz flogged by Manly in the lead up but we took out the Stains to get there.

No choc Mundines doing backflips.... none of that crap.... we took em out big time .. and I was there whopping and a hollering....

I enjoyed immensely todays result - in fact loved it - really loved it - got really excited. But to see the Stains fearing our pack.... not wanting to get down and get dirty because they knew they were not in the same field is something to experience...

Watch around August and these sides will start to gurgle to the top... the mongrels that have the winner in them.....

Cheers

It IS bloody annoying reefy, the ticket sellars are ever present and refuse to take no for an answer.

If they were there selling tickets that benefitted the plight of two of our greats who are doing it hard, Pearce and Bourke, then I would buy one, two or three, however many approached me. But each week it's the same and it's simply for revenue.

If the clubs official group had done anything the CSSC would probably never have come about.

PJ you wouldn't have the slightest idea about what the Sharks Finatics do at all.....

So what, we are the OFFICIAL Supporters Group of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. What is your friggin problem?

Before you even bother trying to criticise the Sharks Finatics come down and meet me before a game and i will tell you exactly what we do.

We do it of our own free will. We do not have any sponsors. We have a mixed age group with a few adults carrying the whole group financially.

If you want to judge us come and help out then see what is involved instead of making your ridiculous observations from the outside.

Until then shut the hell up and don't you dare say that we do not do anything.

For your information, we do our best to work with the CSSC and do not have any problems with what they do.

It is people like you who try and cause problems when both of our supporters groups are trying to do the same thing and support out team.

We did offer, but our offer was rebuffed.

That was for specific reasons.

If you want to have these expained dread, please feel free to approach me at any time and i will expalin them in full to you or anyone else that wants to know.

I represent a group of people that range from 10 years old to about 60 and i will not put myself or anyone else before thinking about what is in their best interests and what is best for the Sharks Finatics, that is my job as President.

***********************************************************
For all you other members out there. I do not appreciate the Sharks Finatics being drawn into this arguement at all.

The Sharks Finatics have been around for many years and will be around for many more to come.

We have stood back and let the CSSC take off and have not stood in the way at all.

Myself and other members of the Sharks Finatics talk with the CSSC President and Board Members all the time and we do not have any problems at all.

Both groups have chosen to work together in what ever way possible to support the Sharks.

I suggest all you guys out there do the same thing and support your team or get stuffed and find some one else to bag out cause i have had enough of the constant sh*t that occurs on this forum.

Mate, I wasn't bagging the Finatics. I know the reasons the CSSC and Finatics never became one, and I have no probs with those at all. In the end, I think going our own ways have been to the benefit of both groups; we can concentrate on our own demographics much easier with no fear of conflict. I'm not sure if your comments were pointed at me or not, just thought I'd make sure.

why not volunteer to help & do it for the official group?

Both the Sharks Finatics and the CSSC had meetings about this Reefy, but both groups wanted to go in the same direction but using different methods.

So we agreed to stay seperate and work together when we can.

There were a few reasons behind this descison which will be explained if anyone wants to know. All you have to do is approach us.

There is nothing negative at all from either supporters group from what i know.

Wozza have you read the CSSC commandments?
Are they so out of touch with yours?

& Wozza, thankyou for your posts, I have learnt more from you in 2 posts, than from the CSSC mouth piece come fence sitting sniper, in 2 weeks.

What the two groups have achieved is Plenty of blue black and white away support this season in greater numbers and greater sound and plenty of sharky army and cssc on the TV screens splashed around the country .

There is no ill feeling between the two groups and we share a beer and chat and most importantly, plenty of high fives and pride in supporting the sharks.

The CSSC are great.

i was standing with you guys today (in a black and green volcom shirt) and i must say, you guys were excellent (apart from that stupid sign you guys had about gaz that just annoyed the rest of us when it was put up). the songs you were singing were brilliant.

whatever they may be, club/group/gang/lynch mob, i will be joining up very soon.

none of my mates support the sharks and i would like to visit a few away games, but never had the courage to go bymeslf.

reefy, all i hear out of your posts is nothing but criticism.

both groups a doing a great job, just like beeker said, they have acheived plenty of cronulla support in greater numbers than i have ever seen before.

well done fellas.

Nah Dread, not really directed at you.

Just a bit pissed off for the group that i look after to be dragged into this for no apparent reason by PJ who obviously knows sh*t all about what is really going on in either group.

As you know and have mentioned, we have very different demographics and we go about the same purpose in different ways.

We are fine with having two different groups and do see it as the best option at this stage.

We both support the Sharks and have a few drinks and chat with each other all the time.

No ill-feelings mate.
