Where Do You Expect Eels to Finish in 2005?

last year we were relatively injury free was in 2001 ;-)

Injury free. It can do lots of things. Look at us in 2001 and the Dogs this year. Given 26 rounds the team should gel and combinations spark.

As Eela said, based on recent years (on-field performances or selection/game plan decisions), despite the undoubted quality in the squad a certain level of scepticism is entitled.

Sixth. Anything lower is a failure though I would happily settle for seventh based on for and against. Anything higher is a bonus.

I expect first because of the following:

1. The new players we have are talented & mix that in with the established players we have at the cllub ie Hindmarsh etc & theujuniors coming through
2. BS is desperate for a premiership. He has this year or next year to win one. If he can't achieve it at the eels with the players at his disposal I dont think he will achieve a premiership at another club.
3. On paper the eels have at least equal talent in player personnel that other top teams like the Roosters & Doggies have.
4. I think they will Gel by Round 7. Practice & the trials will ensure that as well as their enthusiasm
5. The players seem to have that hunger in their eyes as do the coaches. I really smell something special about to happen in 2005
