Currently in a $11 Hold'Em tourny. Up to the first break after an hours play, 1215 entrants, down to 663. I'm currently in the top 200 on chip count. Top 180 places pay, so I will be happy if I can get to that stage then I will worry about the big dollars.

Second hour gone so up to the second break. Still in, however I am down $225 chips from last break. Down to 280 players now, but I am going to need to double up if I want to be in the money.

I've just started regularly playing the 25 cent SnG's on Stars. Going ok, 3rd in a couple of 45's on Monday and 2nd in a 90 last night.

I'm finding the 10 cent 360 SnG's real hard to play now, Even though I've made a profit from them (tight aggressive and patience) I'll scale them down a bit from now on.

The 25 centers are only a bit more expensive but once you pass the first 1/2 hour the play is so much better than the 10 centers it isn't funny. I actually went out in one last night to a real hand... QQ v KK

Stars is good, great tournaments, best I've come in one is 3rd.
Easy to use and popular making plenty of events and options.

Stars is tough on the timing for me. It's ok on the SnG's as they go round the clock, but their small buy in tourneys (25 and 50 cents) go off at midday and 2pm which mean I only get to play them on weekends. I'm playing the 50 cent both days now and I've cashed 5 times in a row (best finish of the 5 was 72nd yesterday). Just have to work out now how to get from ITM to the bigger dough. I actually changed gears yesterday and loosened up a bit, stole a few pots etc, then got caught with my hand in the cookie jar with AQ v AA.

A bloke yesterday had kings twice in three hands and ran into bullets both times. He was going off for an hour afterwards.... lol

Stars is the best place to play by far. They are the only site who will send you emails like this.

"Hello,

PokerStars has become aware of two players who were working together in our Sit & Go tournaments to the detriment of other players. You were involved in at least one tournament with these players and as a result you may have been adversely affected.

The players' accounts were closed and their funds frozen pending a thorough investigation, which is now complete. Fortunately the problem was identified quickly and they had only played in a few tournaments before the accounts were closed.

In a case such as this it is our policy to confiscate the colluders' winnings or balances and to distribute them to the players affected by their actions in as fair a way as possible. To confirm your credit, log onto your PokerStars account, go to the 'Cashier' screen and click the 'History' button. Your share will be shown "Credit Purchase", followed by the amount of the credit.

I regret that we will be unable to answer questions as to how your specific credit amount was calculated. Likewise, we are not at liberty to identify the specific games or players in question. Suffice to say that they have been barred from the site and you will not encounter them again.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance to us and we will not abide cheating or collusion in our games. We work hard to police our games and prevent such instances. In the rare cases where collusion has actually occurred, we make sure that any players affected are compensated appropriately.

Thank you for your continued play here on PokerStars. Please do not hesitate to let us know any time we can be of help.

Best Regards,

MarkW
PokerStars Collusion Investigation Team"
