I'm having a shocking time at Fulltilt, can't win with anything at the moment. If I flopped quad kings on the flop, some arsehole would pull quad aces on the turn and the river.

Pokerstars is much better, won $5 in the AAPT qualifier (70th out of 2,400 odd) and have turned that into $30 via 10 cent SnGs and ring games.

How are those big Tourneys? Do they take hours upon hours?

Sometimes I get stuck in a one table SnG with nuffies who fold before the flop unless they got pocket Aces. If a one table SnG with $6.50 entry takes anymore than 45 minutes its a crime.

On Monday I came 6th out of 1700 odd in a $8 rebuy with $35,000 guaranteed. Took close to 8 hours, won $1725.

Like I am stacking off post flop in a deep game. And if it is a deep cash game what about the times I get set over set?

All your bs doesn't change the fact aces is by fair the most profitable hand you can be delt. You will own so many people at 100bb NL it is not funny. You think these donks online wont go to war with an overpair or toptop? Folding in most games is a weak play.

Well here's the thing:

Do I want Aces? Yes - nice to have, but I'll be very careful with them. Ideally I want to bet people off pre-flop.

If someone wants to put me all-in with them pre-flop even better.

But, early in a tourney it's hard to stack someone if you're holding A-A unless they are useless. It's far easier to stack someone if you hold a lower pair and hit trips against someone holding A-A or K-K.

Bad players can't fold a big pair. This is what I've been saying all along. If you believe I've been saying you should fold A-A pre-flop you're a little bit deluded. The ONLY time you can do so is in certain situations in a satellite.

But believe what you will.

As I said, Aces not ideal early on but ideal later on.

Yeah, that one took 5 hours, I reckon it went for another 1-1/12 after I went out. lol

Still, got me a cash start at stars. I've got a couple of astonomer 2nd round tickets but haven't used them because the 2nd rounds are either 1am or 5am, and I like sleep.

I don't bother with one table sng's too often, pain in the arse like you said.
