Where now for Barba ?

I reckon two or three weeks as a five-eighth in NSW Cup to work on his kicking game and running game is something Barba needs. The NRL opposition has been far too strong for him to get a feel for the role both last year (where he was chopped and changed any way) and this year. He needs to tear up some lower quality opposition and get the timing in..

Took Bird about 20 minutes to work out his kicking game and against better opposition than Barba faced. Surely Bird cannot be moved , whoever's nose gets put out of joint. We are pandering to Barba as he once was a gun. Since then 2 clubs have let him go.

Barba is on huge dollars, we have to pander to him a bit, To get confidence up & playing his best.

He does have a part to play in our hopeful success if we play our cards right.

I think Barba and Bird should both be there. Beale is the weak link in the right side when we could be playing Bird there.

Maloney took the wrong option but it was still a good catch whilst running backwards with 3 blokes running at him

Have Barba start on the bench, question where do you play him when he comes on, that comes down to the game situation, Flanno will need to assess what is happening for when he wants Barba on and where to play him.

Maybe best time to get him on as the opposition is getting tired, or we have repeat sets, he may need only to play 20-30 minutes but done right, thats all he may need to be on park for at the moment

bird to stay at 6, barba bench or fullback(share with val on wing, fekster stays put,gordo to centre, beale gonski)
