Where will this fool end up? Most nrl clubs say they don't want him. I don't think he is eligible to play in England either, due to the fact that I think you may have to play a certain amount of top grade during the season.

I loved his quote in the Tele yesterday on switching to union:
"It would be a pretty silent switch if i did go.I wouldn't want it to become a circus. I wouldn't want to talk to them just to bump up my asking price in leauge either."

Cant be any worse than Carmont.

Imagine that...Carmont, Walker Combo LOL

But seriously, given Newcastles injuries if he came cheap (VERY cheap) he could be worth it for Newie.

Don't his parents need someone to work at their pub after Ben Walker got courted by Souths again?

I reckon the twit will be in gaol.

He is a hot head.

He will drink too much one night and cop more than a squirt of capsicum spray.

He will cop 18 months on the bottom and that we see him through till 2007.
:-({|= :iwstupid:

Seriously though, I think Newcastle would be crazy not to look at him. Sure, he has his deficiencies but he also has blistering speed and can certainly find the tryline. He'd definitely give Johns & Gidley something to work with. He's no worse a defender than Carmont & playing under the current QLD origin coach wouldn't do his career any harm either. Seems a likely fit, but do the Knights have any cash?

how sad is it that we would actually be happy to see him at the Knights if it was on a small contract. We currently have NO speed at all, and his defence is hardly an excuse not to sign him when he isn't much worse (if at all) than what we have out there now.

sad, sad day.

but feel free to come up here Chris.... :(
