I went with 10th. I think we have the talent to finish higher, and we certainly have the coach to mould that talent now. But I think that we need such a total change in attitude, on top of the new coaching methods etc that Anderson is sure to bring, that realistically I expect it to take us some time to hit our straps. I think we'll surprise a few people here and there but ultimately I'm not going to get ahead of myself given all the things that need to improve within the footy side.

Yeah it is interesting though.

We all want to see the side compete, and not give up. That I think is the most important part. Defensively, continuing to show up. If that happens, we might win a few more game or at least be competitive in a few more games.

Looking at the ladder for the last 8 years, 8th place is on average 12 wins. We won 11 in 2008. Last year 8th was 13 Wins. 2 Wins away from the finals. If we win just 4 move games, on average for the last 8 years we would make the top 4.

So from this, most people can't see us winning 2 more games than last year, or at least keeping our for and against down to sneak in, in the event of a tie?

I'd be disappointed if we didn't finish inside the 8, I believe we have the roster to do it

Hagan's two years have dealt the side a severe blow. The forwards are powder puffs and the half back is a homo. I believe Anderson is good but he will only be improving us two places to the 9th position.

However, with the form Hayne and Mateo are in, i believe we might be able to make the 8 given that the forwards put in extra yards.

4th, i have a good feeling that DA can turn things around very quickly. I also believe we'll be incredibly more fitter then what we were this year, just an increase in fitness will prove enough to bring more wins our way.

My only concern is 5/8 and backrow.

i think we will finish 6-8 at the lower end of the ladder but if we get some momentum going into the semis anything can happen

i just hope the players are half as excited about next year as we are lol

I'm with RJ in that I think Daniel Anderson will bring about some rapid changes...
I think the team will come together and lift enough to earn us a spot in the top 8.. maybe 5-6.
Our fitness, cohesion and rookie players will flourish

Just watch the likes of tautai and others imrpove heaps under his coaching, as well as basic defensive schemes for the overall side. The bloke has his unique style liek Smith where you can tell his coaching has imprinted on the side. We will be structured paitent and our defensive line will be coming up alot quicker.

Bottom end of the eight. But we do not have an enforcer or a go to half under presure, Therefore we will have to wait and see what type of player DA can unearth or attract to the club that will fill these requirements to be a serious threat.

Maybe 2010 or 2011...time will tell.
