Same process as last season.

Who better to ask where a certain team will finish than the fans of the team themselves!

With their strongest line up where would you have them finishing?

1. Matthew Dufty
2. Zac Lomax
3. Euan Aitken
4. Timoteo Lafai
5. Jordan Pereira
6. Gareth Widdop
7. Ben Hunt
8. James Graham
9. Cameron McInnes
10. Paul Vaughan
11. Tyson Frizell
12. Tariq Sims
13, Jack de Belin

Luciano Leilua
Blake Lawrie
Korbin Sims
Reece Robson

The uncertainty at fullback, the impotence of strike power in the centres and the inexperience of the wingers will be burdens too high for the Dragons in 2019.

Saints also need both a utility player and a superior hooker to compete with the stronger teams.

With Dufty as FB we have no chance. Seriously.

I haven't been on the forums for some time but it doesn't seem as thought Dufty has the backing of the Dragons or the fans. I thought he had an impressive 2018 and I can only see him getting better.

In saying this, Corey Norman looks as though he is on his way and either he or Widdop is likely to take the fullback spot anyway. We wait and see

I think Lomax needs to be the centers. Last year he proved himself in defence, better then how Aitken went before his injury.
If Norman does come to us I don’t know where he will fit in, maybe Widdop might not be with us in 2019.
Robson must be on the bench, if he comes on in the second half he would be another attacking option.
Duffy is a strike weapon but his defence is not up to first grade. He needs to improve to be our regular fullback.
I don’t know whether SuperCoach can get the best out of our team He has not in the past. You see some coaches picking their team to nullify the opposition. We have never seen that by McGregor
I think we will end up in 7th or 8th

With the maestro in charge of the building blocks the Great Wall of Dragon may very well come a tumbling down to just a also-ran . We have lost too much experience in Nightingale and Ah Mau . Lomax MUST be in the starting side and Aitkin to wherever. Add Pearson and Periera to the wings , with Norman at fullback and Duffy as our strike weapon towards the end of each half . Should the forwards not become fatigued as they have been for the last few seasons then we should just manage to get into the eight .

With the cloud over Debelin we lose an edge in the forwards. With inexperienced wingers and some inconsistencies in other backline positions I believe finishing 5th would be a par score.

I really think we are heading for top 4 and for a GF appearance - I do think Roosters will go back to back though. Norman is a real X factor and Widdops last year and Hunts 2nd year will have the team really tuned up well.
I have a feeling though that
Hayne
JDB
Walker
will be wiped out for the year as a clear sign the NRL won’t tolerate violence against women.

IMO they cannot wipe out anyone until they are proven guilty. I doubt their trials will occur until after grand final time next year. The problem I see is that they will struggle to stay focused on their footie.
