Penrith are just impressive... week in, week out, tough winning performances - top 4 slot well earned in the face of a lot of adversity

Cleary Coach Of The Year perhaps?

Clearly.

I was so impressed with that game last night - both sides were really good - fast, intense, smart footy in less than ideal conditions. Completely different than Warriors v Newcastle.

Definitely supporting Panthers when the warriors crumble prior to, or bow out from, the finals. Soward is playing amazingly. Why wasn't Latimore playing well for Warriors. Brown was busy as heck, and Whare is all class.

Anyway, I'm no Nostradamus (pulled out of our tipping comp after 2 rounds!), but 5 minutes into that game against Newcastle and I knew it was going to be a long night. Stupid penalties and slow defensive line = not switched on. It was really obvious and f**king frustrating.

we are "toast" - use proper English man not this ambiguous "through" or "done"

I don't know; if Segeyaro is out for any length of time, we will be much more vulnerable. And given our last month, we are sure to pick up at least 2-3 more serious injuries by the time we meet you.

Hope the Warriors get there without needing to beat us though.

In that game at least the Panthers will be certain of a finals place (and high up on the ladder to boot).

The same can't be said of the Warriors, in either of those two scenarios.

True. If we are to lose only one of our remaining three games (tough ask, though, considering who we have got), I'd rather it was against the Warriors.

But I hate losing, so I'd still rather go three for three. I think winning 2 out of 3 would probably be enough for the Warriors to sneak in.

I want to see McFadden given a proper go, i.e. at least two full seasons
Not liking this expectation of our coaches to conjure miracles in one year or less

No doubt, and I'll afford him that. I think he's done a lot right, and turned our fortunes around to a point by being a strong man-manager. Tactically I'll want to see more but he's on the right track and I'm a fan.

But I was always a massive Ivan man.

Latimore has been super impressive.

Agree on McFadden, the talking him up has been laughable, tbh - at the end of the day, he could not do worse than McLennan and Elliott - aside from Ricky Stuart moves, the two dumbest coaching appointments I can think of. But some seem to think something profound has changed.... the last few weeks questions that tbh, it will take longer, and I hope he's the real deal, but I am not ready to anoint him the next super coach just yet - long way to go

Latimore always seemed to have the frame to play football, but not the heart.
