46 years old - Polish migrant parents but I consider myself a citizen of the world and mainly Australia.
Married 2 girls, 22 and 10.
Policy / project officer in state public service
Lived all over Sydney, but Newtown is the closest I've got to the Shire. First girlfriend lived in Cronulla though. Currently West Pennant Hills - soon relocating to Northern Tasmania.
Followed the Sharks since 1970, the Tommy Bishop factor sucked me in, then I admired their clean play and athleticism.
Interested in rock music and jazz of 50s, 60s , 70s, weird movies, history, politics, and foota . Love the free flowing information and insult exchange of the forum.

Hmmm. There seems to be a lot of Qld residing IT types. I am yet another. If we do meet the Uncos in the final at Suncorp we should meet up at the Cakko or something.

29. going on 15.
Sharks fanatic since I can Remember. I remember a Parra Grand final as the first game I ever watched in Sydney as A kid. I don't really remember the year, just the intensity. I think it was 86. But I saw a Sharks game in 88 and Saw ET in action and just knew that was my Team.

Hard working social alcoholic. No kids that I know of. The g/f supports Brisbane, the team I hate most in the world so we rarely talk on game day. Never been to Cronulla but I wouldn't dream of supporting another team and somehow converted my family in the meantime.

Senior member of IT support team. Minimal prospects for advancement but I like the laid back atmosphere and the fact I organise the p*ssups.

Like Music - mostly punk but some pretty dodgy stuff, b grade action movies, Bourbon, cheezels and lots of other exciting stuff that I can't think of after 7 beers and that no one probably cares about....

40+ (oh alright then 40+++), male, Canberra-based, married, 4 children, working in IT (yeah yeah)

Dad took me to my first game in 74 (21-20 loss vs Manly). He remarked a few years later that "they'll never win it in my lifetime". I desperately hope this isn't true as that lifetime may not be much longer. Perhaps it'll happen in my lifetime, or possibly my son's.

My children wonder how on earth I could follow a team that has never won anything, but this does help when you're teaching them about commitment and taking the rough with the smooth. They may have several spouses/partners in their lives but they'll only ever have one football team....

Started following the Power in the AFL a few years ago. I know we like to think of our code as superior but if you haven't been to a live AFL game do yourself a favour.

Male 36, live in Bangor, a man of mystery. Born in the country (New England), moved to the city when I was young. Go back for a week or so every few years for a bender. Played league until I was 19, sucked at it. Played cricket until I was 30, sucked at that even more. I wasn't bad at golf for a while, but now I suck at that too. Followed the sharks since I can't remember. I have a university degree, which most people who meet or know me find hard to believe.

Lived in Canberra since 2001. Grew up in the Shire (Miranda) and lived there until 1980
Public servant since 2001, Comm Bank for 18 years before that
Have followed the Sharkies since inception (St George up to 1966)
Follow Port Adelaide in the AFL (only because of their colours) and I'm a fanatical Chelsea supporter
Highlight: The 1978 Grand Final (we were robbed by Hartley but went oh so close)
Lowlight: The 74-4 loss to Parra a couple of years back (disagreed with the boys throwing in the towel the way they did) & the Preliminary Final losses to St George, Newcastle and the Warriors in recent years
Hobbies: Hattrick, writing, reading, movies, golf (handicap of 18), any sport really.
