Gower does a forwards job.
Personally the reason I don't think we need Sef to re-sign is because we have younger forwards who run harder then him, I don't think we really need Sefs ball playing as much as we need hard running forwards.

You reckon having that extra playmaker has stifled our attack?

The first thing I look for in a winger is good hands and can take a bomb.
Semi doesn't have these. He however is powerfull and looks good running the ball.

Flaws - Hands-Passing- awareness-Catching a bomb-finishing(few times seen him make a try harder than should by not diving to line)

Strength - Speed and power

Average player and as exciting as he can be at time he is not the complete first grader people make out he is.

As more teams are aware of his strengths they will soon focus on his weakness and this is what may be the end of SEMI. He is young and could improve these areas but im not 100% he will be in first grade for the next 8 years

How many bombs has Semi actually dropped this year?

I think his poor handling are bing blown out of proportion. His strengths definitely outweigh his weaknesses.

However, as Pou said, we don't want to be paying him too much. Especially when we seem to have a quality replacement in Goodall coming through.

For now they do. But as teams start to mark up on him more and his runs become less effective you will notice them more.

Seen a few guys like Semi before.Koribete is one of them. Just don't put him down as a starter for the next 5 yrs

Two blokes I'd look to shore up longterm:

William Hopoate and Jarryd Hayne.

Hayne...well, I'm a massive fan and I hope he stays an Eel forever.

Will Hopoate is class on and off the field, and the way he mentored Toutai earlier in the year and now Sio is incredible. He has an amazing influence on the side, and he is an amazing player and even better bloke.

Sign them both for life ASAP, please!

If teams haven't worked out how to stop him by now then they never will.
Koribete is talented, but not the way Semi is. All he has is speed (and a lot of it).
Semi has power and awesome leg drive. Can pop a ball too if he needs to.

Semi had a few handling errors yesterday, but that was just one game. Throughout the season he has been reasonably safe.

I agree.

Before we know it, November will be here and other clubs can talk to him, same as Hoppa.

November is irrelevant for a player like Hayne. His manager will already know what other clubs are prepared to give him so if we want to retain him we will have to deal with the market.

x 1000. Both once in a lifetime style players. Easily said for Hayne, maybe too early to call for Hoppa, but everything he does reeks of class and most importantly, he seems like an incredibly classy young man

So Semi has been given an upgrade.

Looks like Sio is on his last year with the club!?

I think Sio has been very good so far this season so would be a loss for mine.

Agree-He is the best winger at the club.Best of luck to him.Im sure he will play first grade somewhere.
I guess with Semi locked in at as one spot by BA, and young Goodal, Falou floating about plus Davis for next year. All could feature in the backline for 2015. I guess it depends where we go with left centre as well.Do we re-sign Tonga-Does morgan stay and what about Loko.

Is Morgan signed for next year?

I'm guessing we will not be extending Tonga with all our other options in that area.

Interesting to see what we do with Loko. Are we getting any Salary Cap concessions this year?

Loko has been a walking salary cap concession... probably worth more to the club signed and not playing than he would be on the field?
