I wouldn't be on fire in the first place. :D

Deflect, ignore, retreat. One team averaged less per game than their total membership, the fans of this so called powerhouse trumping up the best forward pack ever - didn't happen.

Hurry up and leave the forum you skirt.

How many times have you been shown up on here.

Time and time again.

Who is twisting the facts?

Home Crowds in 2010: Souths > Roosters, in a year you made the GF.

As has been explained to you before, our 18k membership figure on the Telegraph includes both ticketed and non-ticketed. We have our ticketed on our website, but they post the combined, blame them not us.

If we have a few thousand paying $100 for a non ticketed membership, only a dunce like you could see wrong in it.

In any case, since when does our average of 17,355 become larger than our ticketed

So why are you comparing them you dope?

You are including people who live in the country, who cannot make games, or just decide to back the club etc with $100 memberships without tickets.
Get it through your thick skull, the higher memberships go, it does not all translate 1 to 1 higher crowd averages.

The AFL teams have been pushing memberships for 20 plus years, have a look at theirs. They also have plenty of non-ticketed members, because they all bring in revenue to the club. They are pushing 50k members yet have crowd averages below that (ex-Collingwood).

I know terms like revenue are beyond an unemployed mental deficient grub like yourself, but trust that even your club is going down this route help fund the Football team.

Didn't souths have a few games where less people turned up than they had TICKETED members as well??

Souths home games against the Cowboys, Titans and Panthers all had less total people in attendance than Souths claimed to have as ticketed members in 2010.

I didn't compare them.

Every team are in that situation and all but Souffs can attract more people to their games than their membership base, why is that? Souffs and their fans claim they are the most well supported team in Sydney but are the only team in the entire NRL to average less than their membership base.

Irrelevant, nothing to do with Rugby League. Bayern Munich have about 150,000 members and average 69,000 per game - nothing to do with this.

I'm not a Souffs fan I have a job, thanks.

One possibility is regional membership entitles members to 5 games and counts towards the total ticketed memberships. Regional members divided by the total games average will be a negative number towards the average.

I'm not anti Souths. I care not about their membership number or comparisons to their crowds. I am not about to bag Rusty for offering Burgess' father an hooray posthumous membership - I thought that was a class act. I wish the club only well.

As for the element of their fan base that is a pissant gimp that thinks Souffs just have to turn up and they'll win the comp, and then they will bag off at every other club regardless of how fans helped them in their crisis periods - I'll hammer these toothless, doorway and cardboard dwelling f*cktards from here to that elusive next Souths GF win.

And that will be for f*cking decades!!!!!

Who said we are the best supported team in Sydney? Bunniesman? Who else?
If we had topped the Sydney crowds year after year and also on the box, then you could say that. Hasn't come close.
Even if it was, who gives a f**k.

If someone said we have sold the most memberships in Sydney because we pushed it harder a few years ago, that is fair.

You should try and mix up your posts rather than continually bag us off.
It is mind numbingly boring.

bunniesman is even f**king the regular souffs supporters up!

poor merkins are in here trying to defend their team from the accusations the troll has made.

rusty should give you a life membership bunniesman-if not that at least some shower shots of the blimp soaping down sandow.

that might keep you quiet for at least a week.

The only claim I made was we are the biggest in terms of members. I never said biggest by crowds because that's obviously not true (yet). If you're going to make fun of me, at least make fun of something I actually said and not made up BS.

Not to mention claiming that the Souths will definitely win this years premiership, Wayne Bennett and Darius Boyd will be playing at Souths in 2012 AND Dave Taylor will be the best forward for the next 10 years.

WOW a moron with a job .
1) you cannot spell (Souths,stupid !!).
2) you use cheap comparison logic(highlighted) to be negative.
a) you then provide example of Bayern, who also have less crowds than members,so are you saying Bayern also compare poorly with Roosters ,who have a greater average crowd than members ? twit !!
b) Do Roosters attract higher average home crowd than Souths in 2010? Answer is NOT ,twit.
So Souths had more members, willing to PAY membership fee , and a greater average HOME crowd in 2010 versus Roosters and even Melbourne and you are knocking Souths ? more twit
