I haven't deflected and if you stood correct on everything you have ever gotten wrong you would pass away from this Earth before you hit half way.

Our home average was well over double our membership base.

I praise Souffs for the 4 points they offer every year

I passed kindergarten with flying colours, particularly nap time that was where I really shone.

Oh real bright. So the lower the Roosters membership , the more chance you have to pass YOURE stupid test.
So for you if PROFIT was your objective ,
if offerred a product A buy for $10 sell for $20 or product B buy for $.8m sell for $1m and you had one customer for each product and terms to cover , you would go for product A as profit margin is 100% versus B as margin was only 20%. YES , you are a moron.

 at Souffs fans - and the Rooster pparently having a lower average home crowd.

The way I see it:

Souffs - 26 rounds - total home attendance 208258

Easts - 26 rounds - total home attendance 194208
2 finals - total final attendance - 56774
TOTAL 250982

Easts win by 42k.

Loudstrat ,
we know you are a deceptive blabberer , a DISTORTER.
This takes the case , MORON>

The discussion , as highlighted is average HOME GAMEs.
You , distorter , want to include FINALS , well 2010 Finals were NOT played at Roosters HOME ground, you DOPE< :p
So thanks for reinforcing the point that Roosters average home games were lower than Souths.

Dont worry souths fans you will go alright eventually.
Probably not in your lifetime, but maybe one day your Grandchildren will be able to tell their children about the time the Rabbitohs reached week 2 of the finals.

As for you foot in mouth brainless dope.
Since my first game in 1967 ,
I have seen Souths premiers 5 times ( and was at the grandfinals) and I am only aware of ONE team that has won more premierships during my following of the game.
Manly with 7 i believe. so my dream is to beat that , Souths will do that in my lifetime.
Tigers 2 , one in 1969 ( i was there)
.

Off topic - or on it depending on what page your posting on - I predict in 5 years Souths will be a major power club in the NRL. With a couple of premierships to boot in the next 5 years after that as well.

Rusty seems to be steering the ship in the right direction as far as that is concerned. Didn't do a half bad job as Robin Hood either. Sure beats Costner.

Let's learn to count, okay? That would be 4 times. Charity Shield wins don't really count.
So in that time (44 seasons):
Manly has won 7
Canterbury has won 6
Brisbane has won 6
Parra has won 4
Raiders have won 3
Dragons have won 3
Roosters have won 3
Tigers have won 2
Knights have won 2
Panthers have won 2

But I'm not sure why you're counting since 1967 only. Why don't we count since 1951 when GFs become compulsory?

EDIT: Sorry I can see why you were confused. You've seen souffs win the wooden spoon 5 times. 75, 90, 03, 04 & 06.

I don't think arithmetic is the problem. I suspect that Gale actually recalls being at a fifth one. The acid is not helping.

pre '67 is a blank, maaaaaan....

Slackboy,
i stand corrected on Souths 4 with Manly 7, Bulldogs and Brisbane 6 having better records. So Souths 4th best during that period.
As to why period 1967 , i only used that as the reference was to "see in lifetime" .
I have seen was my point as my first game attendance was in 1967.
As to going back further , clearly there is NO boundary and should be since the game began. Souths are best , clear cut , however most haters try to bring the discussion to periods that support their argument.

If you're talikng about talking it up in the media and doing gangster signals when they score tries against the Cowboys & being a constant disappointment, then yes. Souths are best, clear cut.

As for anything on the field. Please. You won't make the 8 this year. Again.

I do not think so , mute point though. Go to my original note , if you wish , and reference was to poster referring to "seeing" . So i used that period from my first game. Focus of response was that Souths not the best however record was one of the best . ( so i stated 2nd versus corrected 4th) , my highest wish is to get to best which is the 7 in my lifetime ,although worst case i would be happy to see Souths maintain their leadership during their lifetime .7 is achievable ,once we crack our current period maiden. 3 more to go , assuming Manly do not add to their total in meantime.

Listen , Ronnie Dobbs, if you do not think Souths supporters have been disappointed by the current lean years , then you have no understanding. The wonderful thing about Souths are , despite , these last 40 years of disappointment , losing quality players , losing funding, poor administration, some bad luck , being incorrectly kicked out of the NRL and then coming back from scratch with initial shoestring budget, the Souths fan has stuck as can be seen by Souths having the largest membership and above average home crowd attendance.

So Ronnie , youre free to you opinion, however i think you are DEAD NRL idiot if you believe Souths wont make the 8 this year AT this time of year.
My dare to you , Please put youre prediction for Souths on your "signature", like i have and then have the guts to leave it there all year . I am confident that Souths will make a fool of you.

I'd just be happy if you learned how to count in your lifetime.

let me keep it simple then. my lifetime , I have SEEN souths win 4 premierships versus Tigers 2 ( both lucky) , so get stuffed.
