Who does your family support?

Interested to see whether the club forumers support is very much a family thing passed down by the folks or a choice.

I'll start. Family with no rugby league history and recent arrivals in Australia. But Brother is a Doggies fan, Dad is a Knights fan and mother couldn't care less. We are all fully ticketed members of our clubs. I am a bit of a knights fan as well.

3/4 of them Cronulla. One has been a life member for donkey's years. Most of them ST's I think. Funny how they all wanted Carney sacked for DUI in 2011 but now love him.

Dad is a Penriff supporter. Brother was a Sharks supporter but became disillusioned with rugby league after the Super League War and now only follows soccer. Mum doesn't follow a team but hates Souffs. Girlfriend is a Warriors supporter. Housemate is a Drongos supporter.

Mum, Dad me my sister and dog are all bunnies supporters, only i am the crazy one

two cousins and aunty are souths supporters, uncle is a panthers supporter

so yeah basically 3/4 souths, the rest maybe doggies, dragons and roosters.

however i do have a mate who supports the warriors, his dad parra, his mum souths and his sis knights

Interesting question. My father supported Balmain growing up but lost interest in footy well before I was born and I started supporting the Eels due to growing up in the local area. None of my family members support footy sides or take much of an interest in footy at all. They have other interests it's each to their own.

My kids are Broncos, my fault went to school in brissy.

Two bro in laws Broncos, one a bulldog.

Dad loves soccer (QPR) but likes both dogs and dragons.

The parents and myself are ticketed Cowboys members, sister is a Dogs fan. One uncle and his family are all Broncos fans and another uncle is a Saints fan (his family all go for the cowboys though).

My dad was a Broncos man until i came along and when i was old enough he wanted to take me to games, Cowboys are the only choice in NQ

mrs muzby & mini muzby support the dragons.. Brother muzby also a dragons fan..

Only other family member who supports league is sister who supports penrith. Because of this, she doesn't earn a muzby tag..

Me and my dad are both passioniate Dragons fans, brother is a Roosters supporter much to our disgust.

Mum doesn't care.

Girlfriend is a Cronulla supporter born and bred in the Shire.

I'm from Cairns originally so always followed NQ since they came into the comp, Bro was born on the Gold Coast but spent 6 years based in Townsville in the army so he got convereted to cowboy colours. Old man is victorian so he follows the cowboys as well and mum follows them but has had a soft spot for the titans since they began as my folks have lived on the Gold Coast for pretty long time now

Dad's been following the Dragons for about 50 years, sister follows dragons too, mum likes the knights, and most of my cousins are knights supporters aswell, so they're about the only 2 teams I like other than my own. One housemate is a Manly dropkick, another is an even bigger johnny come lately Titans/Broncos dropkick, and the other likes AFL, and the Lions of all teams aswell

Ive got an aunt and cousin who follow the knights, and another cousin who is a storm fan (some of you might remember him lol)

Dad was a Saints fan but lost interest a while back. Brother is a Panther but isn't that into it. Mum and sister aren't interested. Fiancée is a Panther now (previously supported Manly) and I'm converting all her cousins, despite influence from Bulldog and Tiger uncles.

Dad Storm fan. (used to follow the dragons until him and mum got divorced. Being from Perth with an AFL background didn't get that into it)

Brother, nephew and mums husband Tigers fans. (both originally Balmain fans)

Brother in law (sisters ex-husband) and another nephew Souffs. Brother in law even has a souffs tattoo on his forearm

other nephew is a roosters fan.

Mother in law and sister in law sharks. (both on my wifes side)

Dad: Broncos but only for the sake of the rest of the family. Before us he was a Chookies supporter who maintained a soft side for Cronulla while carrying a deep seeded hatred for anything St. George.

Mum: Has been a Broncos fan since day 1 but before they were around she followed the Magpies in the BRL.

Little Brother: Doesn't care about footy.

Relatives: The ones who do follow league mostly follow the Broncos. The two who don't follow Brisbane are Manly & Souths supporters.
